Just don't go to kebab shops in london at 2 am. They seem to think that since you sit in their dodgy 'restaurant' and wait for 45 minutes for a really dodgy kebab, they have a right to charge you a service charge, which i subsequently did not pay and ran for my life. (the 'chef' had a very large knife') I learnt my lesson. Don't sit in dodgy kebab shops. In fact, just eating kebabs doesnt appeal to me much. Only when drunk.

As for exceptional service in british restaurants, if you manage to find a restaurant like that. Well done to you. MOre often than not you will be served by a Polish person who has little to no concept of the english language. A pub I used to work for had really good service until the dickhead american who owns it decided to cut back on staff, and now it takes a while to get noticed. The food is exceptionally good for a pub too.

This is an interesting proposal. I would be willing maybe. I am not sure. It would depend on If I find a new job and if I would be able to get a weekend off.

Some guy came up with an idea for a soap opera style episodic game series. Yahtzee suggested it should be an open community project. Lots of random people contributed with many ideas and thats about it.

Ron was not started as a newbie training ground. It was supposed to be an episodic universe game thingy. Sort of like a soap opera. Many of the original game makers couldnt be called newbies, and the ideas men (and lady) who created the concept were all pretty well established members.

Saying this it reminded me that i've been floating on these forums on and off for 5 years, and only gorthor and dickboy to show of it. Har.
