Ok, I admit it. I bought this book and read it. And I enjoyed it. What the hell is wrong with reading them? Huh?? They are quality, reasonably well-written books, and unlike most kids books, they are focused more on the 16-19 age group than say 10-12 age group. The characterisation of the harry potter gang are quite believable, well, except for the magic stuff.

Just remember, even the Author said that she hasnt decided who will be the one who lives....

I doubt I will be able to attend. Because there is this girl. And she is coming back to me. And I have to make an effort this time. Because I dont want to screw it up. And buggering off 2 weeks after we get back together will not be good.

Although, things change,.....

i still have to attempt to get my photos online... I may have to bribe the internet cafe people to do it. Stupid no computer crap.

I think anywhere in euope would be good... I'd like somewhere on the spainish coast. Or holland, or germany or any western european country. Perhaps we should look for the country with the cheapest beer and hold it there.

Dave ilbert, and what a freaky coincidence that the mayor when 9/11 happened, Rudolph Guilianni was right near liverpool st station when the first bomb went off yesterday. Good to hear of you blissful ignorance, and that you made it fine.

All the agsers who were leaving today are ok. Havent heard from dave gilbert though, but he should have been at the airport at the time the bombs went off.

All the mitteneers leaving london today are ok. Except they have to make changes to their plans.

I have returned as well. I think the amount of beers drunk was about 300 between 17 people. Although most of it was drunk by Berian, Iqu and myself.

Going there makes me really wanna try hard to get to the real mittens in greece.

I enjoyed the time, and if i can work out how to upload the photos without a computer, i will post them.

General Discussion / Re: My Style

You own style is valuable, but being able to mimic other people styles is a skill worth gold! Think of how all the backgrounds in the classic adventures all looked like 1 person drew them, although a team made them. Being able to adapt is something every person strive to be able to do. I have my own style, but i can mimic other styles as well. Which is good.

haven't yet reported any progress in the area of ticket-booking. Now is the time, people! If there's anything we can do to speed up things (like sending threatening emails to your bosses), let us know! We're counting on you!

Um, excuse me... I will be attending. I will have to organise something soon, but I wont be booking my tickets yet. I am exploring other possibilities, including donkey travel, hitchhiking with a goat (just for HELM!1!) or driving when I get my car. Or train, plain or bus.
#976
I demand to be there at your own risk.

Uh, that means count me in.
#977
I dont have a tent. Who is willing to give me a space in theirs. If all goes crazy I'll sleep in a car, after much protest.

Or just buy a tent...

Damn, I need a sleeping bag too! poobungies...

I guess this will be the most international brittens. Just a note. I'm going. Apparantly I have no choice. CJ told me so when i met him.I just want to meet dave gilbert anyway. There had better be a Karaoke bar near the campsite...

Nowadays, Australia gets movies within 2 weeks of a U.S. release. The UK, with everyhing else over here is about 20 years behind and has to wait for 2 months at least. Movies that had been out in australia for a week when I left to go to the UK werent released in the UK for about 2 months.

And the whole black eyed peas issue. Yes, songs get changed for the radio. Like Lets get retarded, was changed to lets get it started. So fucking stupid. And the phunk and mess. Radio edits are still here, even though we are all living in a supposedly liberal country.
