Congratulations!
Looks.... eehhh.... red!   :)
Let you know more when I've finished/encountered bugs.

[update]
First reaction:
- Funny remarks and animations,
- Music is a bit too much after a while. Some more diversity would be welcome.
- Stickman falls asleep very quickly, even during a conversation
- Many typos.

Furthermore:
Spoiler
When you've left the snackbar and try to re-enter again, Roger is at the door on the right but I still get the message: This guy is blocking the way.

Thanks L'Fish. I was also looking...  ;D

Well, there is this board for old/missing adventures. Maybe that's the appropriate place to pose these questions?
#1084
You're right, I am. And King's Quest without dying isn't King's Quest. Only I thought they created a feature to undo the last 'false' move. Like in Besieged. Guess not. So I'll leave it to that.
#1085
Try if it works from here.
#1086
I'm still not convinced.

Dying in a game is not a walking dead

You're right.

Quote from: Gilbet V7000a on Mon 19/01/2009 09:55:57
as you can always restore a game you saved at any point before the player got killed

That's the same with the dead end. But you have to restore to the point where you encountered the dead end.

Quote from: Gilbet V7000a on Mon 19/01/2009 09:55:57
provided you have a game saved.

Very obvious. But still also for the dead end.

Quote from: Gilbet V7000a on Mon 19/01/2009 09:55:57
If you don't have the usual habit of 'save early, save often' when playing an adventure game you are still forced to restart the game,

Again for both dying and dead ends... still no difference.

Quote from: Gilbet V7000a on Mon 19/01/2009 09:55:57
whereas for walking deads or dead ends you must restore a game which was saved at some point before you did something wrongly,

Doesn't that also count for dying?

Quote from: Gilbet V7000a on Mon 19/01/2009 09:55:57
any save games made after the wrong action are useless.

Now there's the only difference.
Dead end or walking dead is being dead without knowledge. But you're screwed so to speak. So you have to go back to a previous point. And you can't know which point since you don't know where the dead end started. Besides, before you realise you've hit a dead end it can take a long time.

In my opinion a game should never have dead ends, dying is something else. So far I agree but it was more the text from the game that gave me the illusion of not having to restore...

Quote from: the gameThe game will be fully playable from beginning to end and you will never get into a situation where you are forced to restart from the beginning.

A game with a dead end never has to be played again from the beginning, only from the point where you've hit the dead end. So this message was somewhat misleading to me.

I know it's a small margin between the two and I can understand what you want to say with restoring "some point" and "any point" but it's the text that confused me.

Giving the player a chance to back up his last stupid move is a good idea though (like in LSL6), but I don't think it is mandatory in adventure games. It is there as a gift.

It shouldn't have to be although it makes life easier. And I thank them greatfully for it.

Apart from this discussion, great game! With some very little discrepancies to the original (pointwise and layoutwise) I enjoyed playing it again. Can't wait for #2.

I had a completely other view with the text:
Quote from: the gameThe game will be fully playable from beginning to end and you will never get into a situation where you are forced to restart from the beginning.

So what's my situation then?

Playing this one along, I noticed that, while playing without the possibility of getting stuck or reaching a dead end, I paid a visit to the ginger bread house. The witch caught me, turned me into a Graham Cracker (how witty  ;D) and now I get the message: restart, restore or quit....

Eeehhh... is that what should happen?
#1089
Alright, you can get it here for a couple of days.

Leon,hi..you alw there )
firs let me ask you ,what is "not being spoiled"?
I tryed to find this word in dictionary and it looks like "spoiled CHILD"..WAT disword has to do here in forum and whypeople called 'spoiled '?
English is not my mother toung, dats why i can make mistakes in writing and understanding/

When reading a walkthrough while playing a game you often see the solution to puzzles you have to play yet. And because you've read the solution you already know what's going to happen in the game thus 'spoils' the fun. By just asking specific questions, like: I can't find the green marble or how do I make the blue marble green, you get specific answers. In the walkthrough you might accidently also read how to get the red one, but that's something you want to find out yourself first.

And second/its better if you kindly send me WT to my mail.dearme9@yahoo.com cose may be its early to post it here for allpeople may loose interes in game-i dont want it to happened-i see that some players even finishe game !
Its difficalt 4 me to be on line often.

When you follow the link above to the solution, you have the option on the left to send it by email. Just enter your email address and that's it. Or you can print it from there for even easier playing.

Quote from: Alla on Wed 14/01/2009 19:17:21
And i wonder how you know all games ?!!

If you mean the solutions?
I don't. I'm trying to though... :)  When questions are asked about a game I haven't played yet and I see it's under the category of short games, I have a quick look at the game to see what it's about. Playing a lot of games gives you experience and makes the gameplay easier. If you're stuck you can always search the forums here to find answers or to see if you haven't missed anything in the game. Or, if you're still lost you can post your question here (as you did). There's always someone who played the game and will answer (if not then I will).

If you mean the existence of games? Just go here to see what's available.

Happy adventuring.

If you want to know specifics and not being spoiled, let me know. I can give you details instead of the whole story.
