I had the same problem when writing the WT. Not that I'm deaf but my soundcard didn't work (same effect ;-) So I had to play it on another system in order to find the solution. The codes of the safe and the toolbox are different each time and chosen random (a.f.i.k.).

The producer might have given some more visual clues when programming but then the effect would have been less. You play a blind person so you have to use other senses. If you're (partialy) deaf and blind, the handicap (maybe I should say challenge) get's bigger.

[Edit] If you like I can send you the savegame. Send yours to me and I'll 'update' it to after the part that needs to be unlocked.

There's one now here.

I didn't have any freezing troubles here.

Spoiler
Use the flag on Hotties coffin. Then use the hammer on the flag.

With the 8...
Spoiler
you can use the shredder and turn it into pieces of 8. Someone asked for that.

Then I'm probably completely missing the clues in all the texts. The fact that you can't see what's clickable also makes it more difficult. But I haven't finished yet, so who knows what will change.

[edit] You might be right with the clues. Playing again gives me the clues. But there's so much text to go through and.... once you've seen them (or not) you can't get them back. At some points the texts disappear just in time to read through. It might be an idea to let someone click through such amounts because the (human) reading gets slower after some time.

I've stumbled upon a bug... but can't reproduce it yet.

Spoiler
When putting the 8 through the shredder, the image stays the same instead of changing to a shredded 8.

I'm playing this one now and I must say: the graphics are well done. A good mix of cutouts and drawings. The problem I have with the game, as said earlier, are the huge amounts of texts. There are some funny ones but way too long and too many.

Besides that comes the fact that there isn't much logic in the puzzles, resulting in a click everywhere and try everything on everything and thus creating an even more annoying amount of text.  Curious who will finish this one.

Then there's also the lack of music/sound/audio that amplifies the text impact. So my suggestion for a next game: keep the graphics, add some sound and cut the text.

Alright, I translated the dutch version and made some corrections. You can find it here: http://gamesolutions.efzeven.nl/robotragedy-2-countdown-to-doomsday-walkthrough-pijin-pastrana2006/

I understand that but...

Spoiler
as soon as you take the gun, at least one will be killed. And is that the only way to get the 9th clue?

I've found one in Dutch. I'll translate it this week and let you know.

Does that mean that you can only get 9/9 clues found in the end if...
Spoiler
... you take the gun? I've only been able to save all lives (including Chisholm), preserve relationship and solve mystery after finding the gun but leaving it behind. Taking it (and not giving it away) means that at least Chisholm dies. Or is there a way to take the gun and not use it at all? I've tried to lock it somewhere else or give it to someone (not Chisholm) but no succes.

So far I've only been able to get 8/9 clues.

Congrats!

I've seen the 'behind the scenes' recently. Very impressive stuff. Good thing Bank Holidays exist. Will be playing this one later today.

Thanks.

You don't have to have a wire, you should use the wire in the box. Then replace the panel.

I've been playing a short game called monkey

If you can tell me where you found this game or the complete title, I might be able to help out.

Played several storylines now... must say... as I've seen the ending several times, I'm amazed by the difference each time. How little changes can have big consequences. Great job! Will take some time to document though... ;-)

Oh, my findings (minors though but still noteworthy..)

Spoiler

- Taking the circuit board and talking to Eric implies you already installed it.
- You can be seen on the left of several toilet rooms.
- Deciding not to take the transmitter and requesting to open the door to the stairs, selecting snoop around more gives you the response as if you took the transmitter.
- typo while looking at the pictures in the captain's hut: captan's family
- when you're preparing to confront Eric, looking at the computer tells you you can restore power to airlock IV

And when you really want to be fussy about the graphics:

Spoiler

-The ladder in the cargo bay at the point you enter shows a graphic imperfection: at the lower deck it's in the center of the container, at the upper deck it's the exit that's in the center, the ladder is too much to the right.
- At the interactive map next to the elevator, room 6 is presented as cargo bay IV. I'm pretty sure that should have been VI.

From where you get into the van:

Spoiler
Drive to the left and then to the north. After the intersection on the right is your house (C2). There are some police cars parked there.

Umm yeah I was there. Did you even read my problem?
Sorry about that, I overlooked the clerk part (I though you meant the people in the bar). But yeah, you should be able to buy the bottle in the store. Makeout Patrol wrote the solution already.
