If the link doesn't work (as with me) you might want to look here..

Congrats on this achievement.
Great work! Playing as I speak...

A few personal things:
The inventory is a bit getting used to though... very little space to open the inventory and when selected stuff from the inventory, you have to press the play...? Ended up with the "Had enough playin' with me" question several times. I always play windowed versions. I'm sure it's different when you play full screen. And when hanging around places too long the music becomes boring. It's almost real life.. ;-)

Great graphics, Jean & Bernie have good humour. WT on it's way..

Well.... there are some threads with more info, even this one with a WT. But now also a  'real'  one . You can find that one here.

You don't need winzip...

Just click here to download the JamesPeris2-Demo.exe
Dubbelclick on that file after downloading. Select the language for installation (English would be best I think...) and click OK.  Click Next, Click accept the license agreement and next, select a location and next. Then Next, Next, Install and the game will be installed.

Deselect the "Launch James Peris 2 Demo"! and click Finish.

Click 'Start/Programs/James Peris 2 Demo/Setup' and change "Game Default" to "English Translation" under the Game Language section.

Hit the Save & Run button and you're set for life!

Next time you want to play, 'Start/Programs/James Peris 2 Demo/James Peris 2 Demo' will be in English.

Good luck!

I was browsing through the MAGS website and came across a game that looked interesting for some reason called "You must be this tall".  However, when i downloaded the file, it kept giving me an error about the ZIP being corrupt or something.  Does someone have another link to that game?

Found it! Look here.
I downloaded it without errors.

Did you really run WINSETUP first? Do you have the english.tra file in the installation folder?

Knight's Quest III was made after IV. Part's I & II were never made (as far as I know). So when this topic started, there was no part III.

Yep, but at least you should get in the office.

Spoiler
All you can do is look around the office and play with the phone.

Reading brings knowledge!

4. The game uses the same interface as the original Discworld game: one left click will move Paul, a double left click will interact, and a right click will examine. The game is designed for 320x240.

I don't want to see my old games online anymore.
I have deleted them and won't let them be distributed any more.

Is that on a personal or third party ground? If it has to do with copyrights I can understand it (I've played the game and came across several 'trademarks'), but if it's personal I can't believe you don't want 'the public' to enjoy your hard work. Even if it's 'retro' and maybe you are not happy with the end product, why not let the player judge it. Just state that you're not supporting the game anymore and ignore all questions and requests. Players will find their way (as you've seen in this thread).

I respect every decision a producer takes but believe me... it's great work and very difficult to extinct once it's on the web...  On the other hand... if you're "kindly" requested not to distribute it anymore you just obeyed their request. But then say so, so others will know the consequences of their actions as well when distributing copyrighted material.

Using the search in the top menu of this page, selecting only hints & tips, result in this thread. Maybe your answer can be found there.

And in fact, IIRC, you have to plant them in the *past* so you can climb them in the *future*.

You're completely right! My mistake. I wasn't able to plant them (not in the past, nor in the future) so I read this thread and assumed it was the version of the game that caused it.

Thnx Rui.

For the seeds:
Spoiler
Search the gardener when you gave him the whiskey

Mind you:
Spoiler
You need to plant them in the future (door XVIII) in front of the castle. Depending on the version of game you're playing, you might not be able to plant the seeds at all and thus not be able to finish the game  :'(

If you're able to plant the seeds, let me know, I'd like a copy of your game.
