I think you missed a bit at the magician. Talk to him. You'll get something you need. Don't worry 'bout little Duck.
If still stuck: you said the magic W.-word: I made a walkthrough .. ;-) .
Read it here

Very strange. Can you save the game and mail it to me? Then I can see where you're at..

I'm having a go at it at the moment. Looks 'refreshingly' different from others. If you can send me the original text, I can have a (better) look at the translation... I've found some already but it's very hard to do that by just dialogging....

I've made a walkthrough ... (of course ...   :-[ )
Maybe that will help you find the missing part?

Did you have a good look at the picture? Is her name mentioned at the door?

Because you ask so kindly...

Just downloaded it, played it and made you a walkthrough.
Here you go.

You don't.

If you followed mine it says:

Spoiler
Now only the crown. Go back to Lake Molasses.

Lake Molasses:

Oops. You have a DRIED-UP STARFISH now. It looks like a sort of crown. And remember Granny not seeing that well? Let's just give it a try. Go to Granny.

Although it isn't Christmas anymore it was still a good game to play. Nice, not everyday puzzles. Good graphics. Good text. Good story. Well done.

The walkthrough can be found here.

btw, there's a typ'o in the credits (yep, I even read those...): It says Caracter Control Module instead of Character. Nice music there.

Cute little game. I love the simplicity of the characters. The music becomes annoying though.

I found a typo while entering the cave without a lamp: I not going in there....

Also made a walkthrough as usual. Curious what the next will be.

@Gord10:

You're right. I'll add the other two storylines as well.

Finally finished the 'game'. Was more like an interactive movie to me because there was a lot of walking, a lot of dialogues and not too many real puzzles. That's why I was stuck at Efe's. The timeframe there is very short. Certainly compared to the graveyard scene at the end where you seem to have all the time in the world.

A few things I noticed:

- A lot of red. I think a bit too much. It doesn't improve the graphical quality of the game. Some screens were very blurry. A red filter on a screen, ok, but 3/4 of the game is red & black.
-The asperine. No matter what I say, I don't get it from Taner. (So why the question?)
-The english. A lot has been said here already. Needs a lot of improvement.
-The duration of some of the dialogues. Some are too short to be completely read. Why must some boxes be clicked, others not? Why not let them all be clicked so the player can read at his own speed (that's a general comment I have, not only for this game).
-The tarot-game. I think a bit too early in the game 'cause I hadn't really get to know the people yet (especially Cagri and Alper). So it became more of a guessing/try&error than rational thinking.
-The action-icons. Looking becomes walking, using becomes looking, using becomes walking. Very frustrating. At some point you're afraid to look at something, scared to move to a point you don't want to go yet.

The story was good, the choice of music made it even more a nightmare. But not to play.

I'm very curious what will be next. btw, I made a walkthrough. You can find it here.

I played the game and saw all three endings. My opinion? :

- I'd rather see better graphics for April walking towards and away from you than bouncing breasts. (Does it hurt when she walks like that?)

-If you want to use such details, why not give the player a "speed" option (good ol' F2 in the Sierra's). Walk fast with less detail, slow with bouncing boobs.

- Suggesting a long time walking can also be done with a fast walking character.

- The areas to click for transitions might be a bit bigger and less to the edge so people playing windowed versions don't always click you game to the background.

- I encountered several stages of the bathroom (with and without blood) while trying to leave the bathroom and couldn't. After trying 5 or 6 times, I'd be back in the bedroom.

- A typo: "There got it" after my action in the bathroom.

- Don't let the character stand in front of the object you're supposed to use. April's almost completely blocking the stairs she's supposed to climb.

- A typo: When clicking on the exclamation mark (strange icon for a 'quit game') I can read "Do you want to leave April's behind". I didn't know I was on there ... ? ;-)

Spoiler
- When she takes the letter, it's in your inventory, but it's also still on the table.... Same goes for the duvet. (?)

I've made a walkthrough including a link to your site. You can find it here.

Christmas is over but I just played your game.
Brilliant! Took me about an hour to get started, because I didn't know where to go. If other people also get stuck in this amazing piece of work, I've made a walkthrough, just in case.....

btw, the walkthrough was a 5 min. effort ..  ;D

It's called: Labyrinthe...
It should show up on the left side of the map, near the beach (Plage)

Try the first bit of my walkthrough to see what's missing..
You can find it here.

Have you been to the demon yet? As I recall the labyrinthe becomes visible after visiting him.

Splat44 should have read my walkthrough ...   :D
It's translated both there....

About the interaction on doors.... I think it's not too bad. It depends on want you want to say. Normally the default action is walk so a single click on the door would mean go through door. Others like to see it as use the door, so you should select the 'hand' pointer instead of the 'walk'.  I had more problems with the switching of the left- and right buttons. I'm used to cycle through the actions with the right and select with the left. Now both is done with the left.

If you like your game to be bi-lingual, it might be an idea to let someone else do the non-native language. You can always check it before publishing. Then again, the same goes for the native language. Let someone else do a spellingcheck. When you read it yourself you always miss the obvious same mistakes.

I can help you with translations if you need any assistance. (Oui, aussi votre langue ;-)

I had some trouble with this one too ;). First I thought it was at the well in the swamp but that page is a red herring.

G'day,

Playing the game as I write. Crikey what a ripper game mates!

Must have been some hard yakka given the amount of (development)time. Love the interaction between the three main chars.

If 1.06 is the most current I think there's a bung sentence: When visiting Grace the second time she replies:
There's certainly there's some funny business going on.

Or is this also Also aussie-talk and am I going berko?

Can't wait to play the next one.

Hooroo

Another few things I noticed:

Spoiler

- While looking at the boxes, looking at the one below the black box produces a text that's very briefly visible. Then I see: No nothing. Trying it again will tell you that you've already looked.

and

Spoiler

- After hypnotising Nick in the same location, trying to talk to him first produces the text: What do you think we should do now, then he replies: So, did you find out.....?

Seems to me the first line shouldn't be there?

For the ones interested: I've made a walkthrough here
