Finished. Somewhat bizarre interactions with strange inventory combinations. Not the most 'polly-shed' game but still.. good music (not original but still), ok graphics and an as usual sick story. Nice one.

Are you sure about that? Didn't that change in the last (few) versions? Because I used that one and still got to 400. It would mean an additional 6 points... I remember a version where you could get 401 but that's some time ago..

Nice one, Cat. Very nice graphics.
The only thing I found 'disappointing' (strong word here) is the animation of the lever and the up/down walkcycle. The font size of the interface could be a bit smaller. But nice puzzles, not too hard and goes well with the little story.

The word from the poem is random.

You need to press the button to hear which word from the second verse of the poem you need. But you can only understand it after you have the Babel fish. If you first heard the poem, then got the Babel fish and then press the button, you must have quite a memory.. and understand Vogon ;-)

I've never been able to listen to the poem before getting the fish...

I replayed that part and indeed is the moment of autosave a bit awkward and leaves you with a problem. If you say you have the fish, I can give you the options to try (there are three) and continue from there if you want to use the saved game.

I'm also unable to get the fish afterwards unless...

Same here. I've done everything according to the WT but the lasers won't turn off....

[update] Return to the computer again to open/close the hatch. Repeat that procedure and use the elevator again. When reaching level -4 you'll know if it worked... if not.. try again?

It's worth the game. Too bad there are dozens of bugs and glitches. And too many annoying points: the transputter, the moment of saving before going into the arena (way too much dialog to repeat) and the upload terminal. I can imagine people reaching a point of giving up. Shame though...

For those stuck with the transputter: look here.

Congrats to Ben and Calin. A nice game although not my favorite this competition. The only thing that would have made me vote for this one would be the originality in screen transitions. Other than that, the puzzles, story and music were 'more of the same' from this team. My vote would go to SpacePoolAlpha. Very original addictive game play and original use of AGS (did I say that as Adventure/Puzzle freak?).

Congratulations to all other participants for delivering such a vast number of games, I really enjoyed playing. And guess what? Extending the playtime from 4 days to 17 days still wasn't enough, but that's ProgZmax to blame ;-) Hard Space appeared really hard to finish (it still is).

Congratulations to DualNames as well for this great revival. April turned out to be a success, May is looking promising as well. But please do not extend the deadline. If 25 days weren't enough, and 31 days aren't enough, where's the end?  Deadline is deadline. If you make it, great, if not ... tough. Better luck (or organization) next time. People are already going to  count on extensions and postponing of deadlines.

Which mode are you playing? I noticed this when playing medium mode. In easy mode it shouldn't be a problem. The settings are 7. 5. 6. by the way.

I finally did it!!!

Thanks to some brute force persistence, all circuits can be found here for the time being. But I really have serious doubts with the Y-Axis. I would have never come up with this and I think that's why a lot of people have problems with the Transputter. Anyway, copy the circuits to your own game and continue your quest.
