No need to ask. It' at the usual place already.  :)

Well... I had a similar experience but then under XP. 8.5 wouldn't work anymore and even after upgrading to the newest version (2009) I couldn't connect. Then I rebooted my machine...... That seemed to help. Maybe you did that already, still I thought I'd share...

Azraq,

Your download probably isn't complete. The 7zip is a self extracting file so after downloading, double click and give the location where to unpack. There's no additional (archiving)software needed for this. So just download again (all 9Mb) and give it a go. If problems keep occurring let me know and I'll post a repack in zip.

Hints & Tips / Re: Richard Simmons

Ok, you weren't that far yet... sorry.
To get the key:

Spoiler
Look at all the dance mats. One of them has been moved very recently. Use that mat to get the KEY out.

The game is very 'event-driven' so one thing leads to another. It might be that other things need to be done first...

It's not the resolution...

Open your inventory and select the brochure. Use it on yourself to see the map and go to the Ranger Station.

To find the safe:

Spoiler
Behind you is a poster of the YMCA. Take it down to see the safe behind it.

Did anyone call for old stuff?   ;D

Oh well... probably bicycle host again...
I copied it to my site.
#668
Yeah, sorry 'bout that. You can't run winsetup.exe without renaming. The game itself runs ok. Nice one so far but a lot of typo's and grammar mistakes which makes the game less enjoyable (at least for me).
#669
I'll give it a go.

Game has been rename after compilation. You need to rename it back to "Jonny Smallville.exe".

I'm not having that problem .... yet.
What I do have is that I ....
Spoiler
... use the bums clothes with the soup and get a message about the cat hair. I can repeat that because you keep the clothes...

Nice game. Nothing spectacular, fairly simple puzzles and dialogs. The animation of the grapple hook was very nice. A good start.

Some other remarks:

- If you can't walk in a direction, hang up signs. It's quite annoying to see that you have to walk the other way or 'it's not that direction'. Use signs on the wall or something.
- Talking to the guard outside the cinema, the first option is confusing: you say to the guard: "You don't need me to show you a ticket...?" Then the guard replies "Yes I do..". I guess you meant to say: "I don't need to show you a ticket" with the guard replying: "Yes you do...". ?
- Another textual thingie: "I unscrewed the panel off." It's either "I unscrewed the screws." or "I took the panel off."
- When doors are automatic, say so. Using doors that don't open are quite confusing if they work when you walk up to them.

Finally got to this one. I'm not sure what you mean by 'oven'... Can you give a location?
To get the password you need to do some traveling. Talk to the crate and the man inside will tell you he knows the password but wants some water for it.

To get the water:
Spoiler
Use the screwdriver on the fish tank. Water will leak out. Walk all the way to the left until you reach the palace. From there walk all the way to the right until you find Rake, cleaning a lot of blood. Talk to him and walk to the left to return to the bus again. You can find a bone here. Take it and use it to get the water from the fish tank. Give the water filled bone to the man in the crate (lower right corner of the crate) and you'll get the password.

Well.... since this is the game of the month... you might want to try one of the two links on the main games page.

And Blackwell Convergence is missing.....

You're right with the rusty object (cane) and the indentation. But you need to really look at the indentation first, then act..

Just be quick at the right moment...

Spoiler
Watch him moving around the kitchen and at some stage he’ll open his mouth. At that precise moment, take the RED CIRCUIT BOARD from him. Put the green circuit board back into the chef and he’s ready to serve.

Even is the shadow it's not dark enough.
Spoiler
On the crate is a STONE. Pick it up and use the stone on the floodlight that’s still working.

Then try your action again.

Gord,

You haven't read my walkthrough then :-)

It seems that you first need to solve an issue in time....
Assuming that you are at the professors house and have been to prison first, that is.

Real spoilers:

Spoiler
The magnet can be found on the fridge in prison. Use the reel in your inventory to take the magnetic tape from it and use it to reach the magnet.
The skateboard can be found in the basement after all clocks in the house have been set to the same time.

Thanks to all. Although I'm too busy with real  life to write at the moment (which is good in our case), I'll be back soon with 40 years more of walkthroughs, beta's (really, Miguel & Scruff) and translations (almost done Dual!).
