Darn, that's about the only thing I didn't try. Maybe because I can't stand that horrible music  ;D

Cheers!

Then I have the next problem (now I know again where I got stuck... ;-):
I need to solve the riddle but none of my answers are correct so I'm sure I have to do or see something to get a sixth answer. But what?

Then I'm still missing something else because I still can't light the last torch. Did you give eternal youth to the contestant already? Or did you kill him with the gunk?

How come it's available on this website at $6.99?

It's only $6.99 if you're a club member which costs you $6.99 a month. So if it's only for this game, you'd have to become a member, buy the game and end the membership right away (or within a month). It's valid for all games from their site so it's something of BigFish and has nothing to do with Dave. It's their way of attracting people hoping to stay longer than 1 month and don't spend the credits they earn (or buy more at extra cost which will be advertised as "offers").

That's how these commercial businesses try to gain.

Ah... I haven't tried it the other way around. If you can
Spoiler
get rid of the fairy before getting the mirror
[close]
you've discovered a serious dead end...
I'll try that now.

[update]

Not really. If you give the fairy, you'll get a rope. You can use this to get the mirror. You can get the rope at the second contestant again, but it's kinda useless now.

I'm not sure what you mean here? You don't lose the fairy, do you?
Spoiler
And the mirror is standing below the door.

It's indeed the rope you need and you indeed need the mirror. To get that, go down to the room with the ladders and look at the wall on the right. There's a small hole....

When you've seen what you can get there...
Spoiler
Walk back to the left and talk to the gargoyle. Ask about the secret door. Ask if he can help you and ask about the secret door again. Then he'll tell you about the skull.
[close]
To open the secret door:
Spoiler
Use the bone on the left eye of the skull in the fountain and the door will open. Walk inside the cave and talk to the cage.
[close]
The get the mirror:
Spoiler
Use the fairy of health on the mirror when looking through the hole.
[close]
Then to get the rope (which you figured out already):
Spoiler
Give the mirror to the contestant and you can take the rope.

Yeah.... did you get the key from the chief yet?
He requested you to get rid of the robot.

To do that:
Spoiler
Use the cola on the robot to kill it and give it to the chief. He'll give you the key: the missing fourth piece.

Maybe you can create something like a patch because downloading 86mb (if you take the game only) isn't something (most) people like to do for fun.

I've finished the game and must say: the game has a lot of potential but I'd expected a bit more of the puzzle part.

Spoiler
Just collecting 4 pieces and pushing three buttons isn't what I'd expected of a game with these kind of graphics and such professional presentation.

The best puzzle in this case was obtaining the keys to the boat but was (in my opnion) badly presented.

Maybe collaborating with a good puzzle designer?

There's another path you might have missed...

Spoiler
When walking south from the pyramids, you can walk left into the forest. There's no path indicating it but you can walk there.

I didn't finish the game yet but I wanted to get rid of my frustrations:

- There's way, way, way too little interaction with objects and surroundings (with the waterfall as anti-climax: A fall). There are several rooms with no interaction at all (or so it seems). You can't see hotspots (which wouldn't be a problem if objects and exits are clearly marked). The game play to me at the moment is wildly clicking on all that seems to be an object and isn't and missing objects that are needed.

- Exits and walkpaths aren't clear. Especially in the tunnels it's a nightmare to discover there are more paths to travel than left and right.

- The character got stuck (literally) several times already. I could talk, see and interact but not walk anymore. Restore is the only solution.

- The actions can't be scrolled (said already) and becomes more annoying as the game progresses.

- There could have been more animation. The balloon scene could have gotten a better reaction from the lady other than a simple line of text.

- The action-cursor is pretty bad. To use the wrench on an object is precision work. The icon is badly chosen too. A hand or something would be more appropriate.

The graphics and backgrounds are very nice but I have the feeling that there are too many rooms stuck together for the sake of the rooms, not the puzzle effect. I see loads of potential here but to me it's not a finished product.... yet.

Annoying indeed, but manageable. The translation could use a lot of work but it's playable. When talking to the man at the reception I'm facing the wrong way and talking to the other men in the area, I seem to be standing behind them instead of next to them.

Also when entering the room with the corpse I say something about the corpse while facing the lobby... ?

Other than that so far... looking good.

Looks professional & funny. I'll tell you more later.

You need to open the black box. Note the wiring leading to the box.

Spoiler
Look at the three objects and make them 'disappear' in their background using the bucket and the color tubes.
[close]

The specifics to solve this:

Spoiler
The white panel is agains a purple background. Pick up the bucket and use the bucket on the blue paint tube. Use the bucket filled with paint on the white panel to make it blue. Use the empty bucket with the red paint tube to fill the bucket again and use the red paint in the bucket on the blue panel to make it purple. The first light on the black box lights up.

The brown snowman is standing in a yellow puddle on a green floor. Use the bucket on the blue tube and use the filled bucket with blue paint on the snowman to turn the yellow puddle green. The second light on the black box will turn on. The yellow bomb is against an orange background. Use the bucket with the red hose to fill the bucket and use the bucket on the yellow bomb to make it orange.

Good luck to all, I'll be playing. That's for sure.

As for the comments: I'm not sure how easy it is to change the voting site. If you can leave comments there (like said before) and make these visible after voting so you'll have the number of votes and the comments it would be a nice addition. At the moment it's just anonymous voting and that's it. There's no feedback or result (other than who won) after the voting has taken place which would give me the feeling of 'why should I vote at all...'. ?

A bit more statistics and motivation would be nice. The comments during voting shouldn't be mandatory though to scare people off.
