Did you find out about the thunderbird already? And the powers that Mingo has?
What's in your inventory at the moment?

The Murran games got a little promotion:

Escape24Games picked up on this.

It's a keypad that's used regularly. So the keys must give the clue but not straight away...

Spoiler
The solution for this can be found at the police station...

Not sure what you've done already. But have you really tried with the shopkeeper?

Spoiler
Did you show your badge to him and kept questioning about the thunderbird? If so, walk back to your car and the story will continue....

Advice: pay attention to dialogs... they contain crucial information to continue (not only at the shop). About the beans... you're right. But it wouldn't be much of a puzzle if the shopkeeper kept telling you the right number, would it? ;) And, you can always really try to guess the right number. Or start with 1, then 2 etc.

Spoiler
It would only take you 412 attempts... :-)

Well...... if the owner asks you to leave... be kind and leave  ;)
About the jar... oooppss.... you might want to restore the game and enter the store again.

My conclusion: pay more attention to the shopkeeper.

NOTE: I only now realise that you only have one chance to get to know the number of beans.

You can find ...
Spoiler
- the CD under the strange trash. That's where you found the bucket.
- the knife in the tyre of the white car
- the magazine was near there. The location is near the nuclear compost.

You need to collect more evidence. You're missing

the knife, the magazine and the CD.

Wow, speaking of old....  ;D
I enjoyed it a while ago....

Yeah, I can remember your Dagger project ...  :-\ Wasn't the best of translations... ;-)  Besides, there's a lot such appications won't notice. Words may be right, but grammar is something they all have trouble with (some people as well by the way :-) )

Just curious, what tool would you be using?

The setup doesn't work with me but I can run Die Vie Ess in full screen mode (640x480). I had to adjust the resolution manually though.  Here's my acsetup.cfg:

Code: ags
[sound]
digiindx=0
digiid=-1
midiindx=0
midiid=-1

[misc]
screenres=1

Plays perfectly past the intro and on...
Let me know if this works for you.  I'm checking on Lost Treasure.

You need to make sure he's distracted.
Spoiler
Below the desk is a plug and socket. Pull it to turn off the monitor (or put the plug back into the socket) The head will be looking at his monitor for a moment. That's when you take the card.

As I understand it you want to 'see' the desktop on the laptop. It that's the case, have you thought about RealVNC? Make your desktop the server and you can use the laptop as viewer. You can use the VNCViewer but you can also set it up to use any webbrowser so the 'viewer' doesn't need any particular installations.

If you want to make it yourself you should have a look at openVNC.

Congratulations! Finally it's there. Looking forward to part 3 ;-)

This is the same version as released in 2007, but now translated :) and without voices :(
I can't crash the game like [Arj0n] did.  :D
#958
Never thought there would be more Norby after what happened ;-)
Play now, comments later..
#959
You're right. There is. As I said earlier, exits are very hard to find...  ;D
BTW, when you return to the plastic bag, there's also the green thing that covered the hole two screens further but now stuck to the ceiling...  ::)

#960
There is but... you'll walk into a dead end eventually once you've reached the intestine (or is there a way back from there?). The plastic bag warns you already... ;-)

My remarks about the game:

- Great idea, nice graphics, music is ok (bit too carnavalesque) but...
- The cursors aren't always visible. Some cursors are still default which is a shame.
- Exits, hotspots and objects are not always clear to see which makes it more of a pixelhunt/click-where-you-can game.
- Dialogs (if you can call it that) are in one colour so who says what?
- I expected a bit more info about the digestive system of the cow. A great way to educate people while playing.
- Debug mode is still on.
- Puzzles are repetetive.
Spoiler
A lot can be solved with the cells.

Overall well done but there's room for improvement. The concept is great.

Note:
Spoiler
To solve the issue as depicted in
,
you should click to the right next to the worm, not on....
