Why do catholic church (and/or many of its stupid followers) deny theory of evolution I don't know. Why couldn't it be also part of God's plan?

Because some people, who believe Darwin, say that humans evolved from monkeys, while the Bible thinks that people were created independantly from animals.

Everyone's brainwashed by something. It's all about human nature - a need to follow something, to fit in. You could be brainwashed by the Bible, Fox News, Eminem, your best friends, your parents - whoever, or whatever you pay the most attention to.

That's right, but after you've managed to get brainwashed by yourself, you start feeling an urge to create a new religion/way of life/ cheese and gain followers.

I give people respect untill they show me they dont deserve it, i believe everyone deserves a chance, end even a second chance and that people should be free to do what they want, as lond as they arent hurting other people.

Why?

Well not because some priest tells me I'm going to hell if I'm dont try to be a "good guy", but because of the way i was raised and because of the lessons ive learnt in life from doing stupid shit.

A bit off topic:

Lesson No 1:
If you don't act like a "good guy", people hit you.

Lesson No 2:Psychological Egoism

People have nothing good in them actually, they just follow their basic incstincs, searching for pleasure and evading danger.

All these namings are quite disorienting. Can't companies simply join hands and create McWindunix?
#203
I never abandon my ideas. I just leave them somewhere, to wait for better times.

Finishing other's abandoned stuff does seem interesting, anyway.

Pleurghburg had a lot of "don't pick that up" puzzles and I found it really annoying. It doesn't mean that you can put none of them in the game, just don't make too many of these.

I think languege should change naturaly, trying to stifle this beautiositiy is prone to stagnitalisum.

But there are certain careenings which should be restabilised. For example, the whole textspeak/internet slang thing... I don't believe I could persistulate in a world where we all communiferate through 'lol's and 'wtf's...

You are too late. It has already started.

Now, about the business: I've spotted a one thing -- When someone says a new word (invented by that person) aloud, in the audience of people he/she knows, there are two possible ways, in which the destiny will go:

WAY ONE: The people ignore it, no matter how loud and how often you say it and try to be as much oblivious about it, as possible.

WAY SECOND: The People do not ignore it. This is where fate of the word splits in two possibilities again:

Possibility A: They like the word and eventually end up using it very much, till the next phenomena is born.

Possibility B: They remember the word, maybe laugh  a little, maybe not.  And then, the next day/week...
They use it. Not the way, you would want them to do that. They say it every 5 seconds, every time they speak with you, about you or near you. They call you just like the word, they call what you do just like that word, they call your mum "that word's mum". Eventually, you hate them, you hate the word and you hate the word's inventor, which is you, the most of them all.

Way 2nd, Possibility B has been noted to have the largest persentage of occurance.

Sorry, I'm thinglinng a bit.

"Barbie Shaving King" is what I think should never be made.

Bump: I'm starting to get worried, guys. Someone please post in here, and stop me from thhinking that my sound file is causing mass suicides.
#208
So, it appears that even Lionmonkey has made a wannabe masterpiece of...something. Anyway, here's the sound file:
Here it is.
Wait till the page loads and click the yellow button at the bottom left corner of the page. What I need you to do is to try to listen to this and give me loads of tips on making more of this kind of stuff. I mean, not about this concrete sound file, but about making them in general. Hope you understand what I mean.
The file itself was inspired by many of my philosophical thoughts.

P.S.

In case you are listening this with Media Player Classic, try to click the Increase Speed button once and listen to the file from the beginning for more fun. This is another issue, I would like to discuss: Why do some songs sound better if you accelerate/decelerate them? And how should I choose the approriate speed?

EDIT: Oh, and please post bellow.

There was no safe place. A twisted melody of gunshots and pre-death moans, his arm, resembling a hunk of sliced beef and his legs, lying forty metres from the place, where he was, were the cleariest evidence. But Private Phil mashed buttons on his PSP no matter what. Gotta get to level 50!

Once upon a time there was a furry little thing. It had many furry little friends in the Great Forest, where they lived. It liked to run around the Great Forest, play with it's furry little friends and eat juicy fleshy humans. It was a happy furry little thing!

Ok, I must be abusing this thread, but since there is a person, who thought that
this video
is good (5 stars) and it was neither me, nor someone I know, it must be really better than my previous. I'll try not to abuse the thread anymore (for now).

I still think that mouse is the best controller ever. You don't have to swing and turn your hands till they hurt like crazy. You don't have to hold a stick in your hand. And you don't have to rotate your head while still trying to keep track on what's going on on the monitor, till your eyes pop out.

This is a tribute to Madness Combat and especially to Madness interactive:

This is a kind of Interactive Fiction game where you choose what happens next from the options bellow.

As you can see from the dialogue, the protagonist (one to the left) is obsessed with pie: Mental trouble -- check

The madness is reflected on surroundings -- Chck.

The GUI deals with protagonists madness -- Check.

Don't count me in if I'm a bit late.

EDIT: This is a GIF and it was made in Paint.net, not MSPaint.

VOTE: My vote goes to Fyntax, because:

1) I really like the spotlight effect, because it greatly shows isolation and despair.

2)"Toast is evil" insanity is a nice idea.

3)The inventory and available actions really increase the madness atmosphere.

4) Also the stance (sitting in the corner, looking around) is corresponding.

One word: Plagurism.  ;)

It's plagarism and it doesn't help.

Take a lot of showers.  I know it sounds odd, but I find that taking a nice hot shower is like opening the floodgates for ideas.  I get some of my best ones while showering.

I've got tons of ideas, that seem nice, while showering, but as soon as I get to my computer, they all seem crappy. So I've decided to never take shower. Ever.

I've got an Idea for a new competition:

FINISH THE SKETCH:

Participators are given a rough sketch with a little narration. They must finish it!
