Oh, damn, I hate wars.

They create some angry little people who say that they are doing the right thing, follow the right ideals and they create some angry little people who say that the first angry little people are bad and evil and should be punished for whatever they've done.
And both camps of these angry little people stay in their comphy llittle homes, showering each other with fecalia and doing nothing about the matter.

That's why I make my schoolfriends learn physics and chemistry at school, so we can make many nukes and explosives and estabish a new world order.

Wow. This is the highest, I ever got in a Tune Contest. And this time the melody was set by that algorythm. Maybe I should use it for all the other stuff too. But then again, I'm the one who made so many of them, trying to find something appropriate. Anyway, congratulations to the very puzzled right now Myself and to all the other participators, of course.

I can only speak for Sweden, but here at least "Nazi Germany" is a given part of the history curriculum of primary education. We've all "studied Nazi Germany".

Same goes to my country. We were studying the whole 20th century this year and Germany was about a third of it. Also, the stuff, RickJ told us about was witten at the end of the book, in the same format, only with pictures.

BTW: Did you know that Hitler had Jewish relatives?

when translating to another language you will lose probably half of your jokes.

Have you ever played a game with a good localisation? Because, when I played russian Mafia, Rune and some others, I imagine how hard it was to translate some stuff and to keep the emotions same as in the original game.
So, in a localisation you can gain your satisfaction not only from good graphics, gameplay, story and such, but also from the hard effort of translation.

I tried listening for the bass line of that song, and it is one of the most irritating things that I have ever heard; it pretty much completely ruined the song for me.

It's fascinating, how human ear can reconfigure itself in order to listen to specific noices and split them aside from all others, just by the user's wish.
But it seem that musicians want you to concentrate on one concrete channel and keep the others as a background. And like Stupot has noted, it sometimes doesn't seem to work properly.
So, how do you make people concentrate on a specific channel of your choise?

Does any one of you try to reverse engineer the music in their mind, like, split it into channels?

Do you use XP or Vista?

Oh, sorry, I didn't know, you use Vista, since I'm an XP user. Ok, so you're saying that after you create file in mspaint and then save it as GIF, it loses colors?

I write all the AGS stuff in English because AGS is English, it's Manual is English and it's Forum is English.

Naturally, I got used to thinking about the AGS in English, because almost everything, connected to AGS, I've seen so far is in English.

And since thinking stuff up is actually the process of combining completely anything you have got, stored in your memory, it is easier to just do it, without doing the extra  job of translating it to Russian. Translating just slows you down, taking away the precius nanoseconds, before the thought dissapears from your head.  The!

3.|o|.:Same goes to this forum.

Tho, if there was no evil what would be the point of constantly trying to cleance oneself from it?

To make yourself more cleansed than others. That's it! I've cracked it! All the pieces of the puzzle are together! A Christian person does all this stuff in order to show everyone else how better, cleaner and holier he/she is than others. It's like A max lvl epic gear owning a lvl 1 noob. It's all about ownage!

How about you get to the root of it: people are just trouble.

Don't call me xenophobix, but I don't agree: Sapients are just trouble.

About the time, I got home access to internet, I got really interested in machinima. It looked for me like creating my own movies, with no need in practically any budget. I've successfully abandoned it after a few unfinished projects, but after some time, I've considered to restart the work.

I've got some stuff finished, lying here and there, but I've decided to get some critique and advice, so I improve what should be improved and leave alone what should be left alone in the next ones.

So here's work number 1:

and number 2:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVEPo8djeGo&feature=related

The music is made first, before the actual video shooting, keeping in mind what part of the story (which was thought up long ago) will the video show.
Then clips are shot in game cam and cut and sewed and combined with music in Windows Movie Maker (I still haven't learned how to keep the quality good and size little at the same time in Vegas).

P.S.:Please tell me if find that Youtube compression has bad influence on video and audio quality, I'm really worried about that right now.

Lionmonkey: Show me your exporting menu before you press export, we can see if any settings are on that might mess it up?

I usually make a couple of same MP3s with different settings in order to determine, which sounds most like the project, but here is the most usual setup:

I would recommend rechecking all your audio settings under options and more importantly your rendering settings

I'm afraid to do so, because it may cause FL to lag again. Just tell me what of this setup could affect the problem:

Export as .wav and then use another program to compress to .mp3... I've never had trouble with the quality of mp3's exported from fruity loops ???

Thanks for the advice, I'll try it. Which conpressing program do you recommend?

I'm using FL 7 for creating music, but there's one thng which always bugs me when I'm finishing a project. It's the quality of the final MP3.

I've tried setting everything on maximum and still the sound is about 50% worse than when it was in the project stage.
The worst of all gets automation. You see, I'm a big fan of it and practically everything I make gets some cool automation bits, some of which I consider like a work of god's hands.
Also there's panning. There was one work when almost 40% of it was panning. Well, MP3 doesn't seem to save it.

Wav is out of question, because it's too big. Switching FL7 for something else is too. It's just that when I listen to some of my raw projects I think, how great and awesome they are, but then I realise that I can't use them even in a video without losing a big part of their awesomness.

Okay, any tips on increasing the final quality?

General Discussion / I like my work.

The first thing, I've created, which I can remember was an unfinished book about a person who got killed and is a ghost and uses his ghostly powers to steal food and about police detectives who were chasing after him for stealing food. I've started it at the age of 8, but after about half of a year admitted to myself that that thing was too dumb or at least had too many plotholes.

Anyway, from about that time, till now, I feel strangely attracted to any stuff, I create. It always seems to be like a creation of a god, a masterpiece. And always, whenever I remember about any of my creation, I feel an urge to watch/listen/read it again. And again after that. I once spent about 6 hours watching my videos one by one, over and over, stopping and replaying the best bits. What is this? Discuss...

Don't waste your ideas: ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS with capital letters, keep a pen and a sheet of paper with you. And when an idea strucks you, first, write it down, write as much detail as possible. Also write, why you think it's a good idea.
