I can't pull the cord.Is it the one hanging just to the right of the painting? I have tried it and the one wrapped around the drape on the far right and can't do anything with either. It just keeps saying 'There's nothing important there.' What is wrong?

How do i pick up the dog toy? When I put the cursor on it it tells me it's a dog toy and some other dog will probably find it, it's not letting me take it. How do I take it?

I have already gotten the pickaxe, map, compass, dynamite and lantern but like you, can't figure out what else to do. I also happened upon the yeti unexpectedly and before i could even blink he grabbed the little man and ate him. YIKES!
