"My favourite was Loom. I thought it was an incredible product. I wanted to buy the rights from them to do a sequel, but never did."

I did add some new string declarations and received this error. It only happens when I try to start the game - I can save it without any error-messages. What does that error message means?

But then if you count the number of people who speak english in other parts of the world (since the EU does not make up the whole world!) you would probably notice that english would be the most used language.

1.   Mandarin Chinese (836 million)
2.   Hindi (333 million)
3.   Spanish (332 million)
4.   English (322 million)
5.   Bengali (189 million)
6.   Arabic (186 million)
7.   Russian (170 million)
8.   Portuguese (170 million)
9.   Japanese (125 million)
10.   German (98 million)
11.   French (72 million)

;)

Btw.: The mother tongues spoken by most people in Europe is Russian...
--> English: rank 4 in Europe   :P  ;)

I'm afraid KQ1, KQ2, QfG 4.5, Hermit and The Uncertainty Machine are the only completed full-length AGS-games with "professional graphics", dimidimidimi.

Quote…because I haven't played DOTT

QuoteAnyway, I think that the main difference between Sierra and Lucasarts is the way they treat the players. Sierra always seemed to want the players to have fun with the games…

There is a nice German saying:
"Von nichts 'ne Ahnung, aber zu allem 'ne Meinung."

Quote'Yes, PsycoWorm has got the authorization from Chris Jones to translate his wonderful program Adventure Game Studio...'

Advanced Technical Forum / Speech bug
Sat 30/08/2003 18:09:30
I think there is a bug. When a character is near the room edge, its speech isn't centred over its head. It's more in the middle of the room. I'm using v2.56a. I don't have that problem with AGS 2.55.

I found this French broadcast about adventure games (Runaway, Out of Order…) on the net. Could someone of our French visitors gives me a short summery of the Zak2 report?

Thank You In Advance

Quote…and the AGS engine can't import arabic fonts even if they are ttf.

LOL. And why shouldn’t AGS be able to import them? I’ve read that the Arabic alphabet consists of only 28 characters. The Russian has 33. And AGS supports Cyrillic TTFs very well…  ;)
