Doh! I found my mistake. Thanks anyway.  :)

AGS doesn't display the name of a hotspot, if there's a region at the same place. How can I fix that?

QuoteThat's right folks, I'm coming over to the good ol' country of Germany.

--> protests in Germany:  ;)

QuoteA year ago…

Welcome back, Gabriel!  :D

Ok, Erpy & Co. I've downloaded that damn demo from Kazaa and put it on a website. Now we can all be friends again, forgive each other, love each other, help each other to change and make some good resolutions for the new year.  :-*

General Discussion / Re:AGS banner

Wouldn't it be possible that everyone can submit a banner of his own favourites and let the website decide every day, which one it displays?  :)

There are AGI-versions of KQ5-KQ7?  ;)
#89
Quotebut maybe how many rooms and puzzles there are instead.

Heh, CJ should build in a "Use inventory on hotspot"-counter...  ;)

Does there exist a precise definition for that categories somewhere?
#91
QuoteWouldn't it be cool if another AGS community would exist somewhere, and we didn't know about it...

QuoteOoh, like an alternate AGS forum? Like an evil parallel universe AGS forum?? That would rock...
Hmm, I'll go find one...

Heh   ;D

Heh! The Latvians… I still can't believe it. Really cool. :D

Quotei'm confused, kq1 wasn't the first graphical adventure game

Absolutely true.

1975 "Adventure" - first text adventure
1980 "Mystery House" - first text adventure that featured graphics
1980 "The Wizard and the Princess" -  first text adventure that featured graphics in color
1984 "King's Quest I" first text adventure that featured on-screen walking characters
1987 "Maniac Mansion" first point 'n click graphic adventure

QuoteIn closing, KQVGA is like wallpapering Chernobyl: it looks better, but its still Chernobyl.

QuoteI set up the account on web1000…

Hehe, Web1000... That host is funny. If you're using a German browser, it directs you to porn sites.  :D

Quoteif it has more than 20 rooms its a full game

Heh, where did you get that number? Even Loom had more than 50 rooms and many people won't call it a full length game. A common LucasArts-, Sierra or Revolution-game has around 80 - 100 rooms. Btw.: A lot of games in the medium section have more than 20 rooms.

Maybe it's not the right place to ask this question, but what’s the purpose of that so called team competition? I think I understood that you want people to make different games within a short time and that afterwards somebody decides that one game is "better" or "worse" than another, but… heh, please don’t laugh… I don’t get it. Maybe I'm too old-fashioned but that all sounds so… childish.  :-\

QuoteSorry but the fonts you posted don't have accents

They have. AGS doesn't display them in the font window, but they are there.
