one of my students has been experiencing this error almost every time they work on their project. Every time it happens, the student STARTS OVER FROM SCRATCH, and does enough work to make their game function. They save their work, then when they open it the next day, they see this error and all (or most) of their sprites are black rectangles.

I would love to be able to tell this student what they're doing wrong, but I have no idea what they do outside of the classroom. This error has never happened to me before, but I've only been using it since last Summer.

Does anyone have any idea why this keeps happening to this one student?

Text of the error message states:

Sprite file (acsprset.spr) contained less sprites than the game prject referenced (109 sprites were missing). This could happen if it was not saved properly last time. Some sprites could be missing actual images. You may try restoring them by reimporting from the source files.

Hey all, not sure this is allowed but I would LOVE an explanation as to why AGS doesn't allow rotating a sprite similarly to moving a sprite.

I do know about creating a dynamic sprite, I'm just intrigued by why in programming one has to go through such a complicated process of rotating.

Thanks!

Description:
Welcome to Monty Monster's Birthday Bash! Monty's monster pals are on their way to celebrate, but first, he needs help decorating for the big day. Can you lend a hand and make everything cozy and cute before his friends arrive? Let's make Monty's party the sweetest bash ever! (Caution: There may be lots of blood.)

Greetings!
Hi there! I fell in love with AGS a few months ago and have been lovingly crafting this game in my free time ever since.

Completion:

MMBB is fully playable up to the ending, but there's lots of stand-in art and sound along the way. The puzzles are all working, but I'm still refining them as well, and may edit them based on playtesting results. My children are also telling me that there needs to be more risk in the game so I'm adding more ways for the player to accidentally die.

- graphics 65%
- puzzles 90%
- scripting 80% (the game is finishable)
- music/sound 30% (LOTS of stand-in audio clips that I need to replace)
