The fourth step seems like a parody of FPS games, where death means a bright red screen!

But yeah.... there's no obvious theme thats going to occur in your strips, and it's not funny.  :-\

What if you like GK2 (So far) and think GK3 is more boring than spending a week staring at a wall? Where is the divide?!!

When I was a kid I'd drink:

Now I drink:

Which is chocolate Soya milk but it's tastes way nicer than you'd think.

Also nice:

I have a Sony Bravia 32" widescreen LCD just because I can use it for my PC and my 360, and my ps2. (And a PS3 eventually)

Maybe I've set it up wrong (Or not at all), but I can see a faint flicker on the text, like as if its the refresh rate or something.  :-\

For you to look into:

"They seen too much."

Surely, "They've seen too much."

"The had reappeared for this vision and it opened"

The what? The door?

It's important to check for errors, they can ruin the immersion of the story if it reminds me the writer made a mistake, and of course it will harm your grades.  ;)

"she closed the it behind her and lay on the bed"

Was it 2am in the morning when you typed this out??

"insane fit of hysteria" Hmm, check with someone who knows their stuff to see if that makes total sense. Is hysteria ever a stable control of emotions? Maybe I'm being picky, but it IS for your English course, so I will be just incase, for your own good. But I'm not really sure about that one...

"She lifted her head from the pillow and David saw into her eyes"

Again, not really sure about this one, but I'd replace "saw" with "looked", it sounds better to me, but I'm not sure why. Is there someone here who would know better?

"as his farrier's hands"

Wow, I had to look that word up! Never heard it before!  :o

Wrong:

"David try to scream Stop it, Stop it, but no words came."

Less wrong (I'm not perfect):

"David tried to scream, "Stop it! Stop it!" but no words came."

"He felt someone standing over him over him."

Erm.. did you read this back to yourself out loud?  :P

Maybe I'll answer your questions another, day, it's past my bedtime!

Yeah watched it loads as a kid!

By English do you mean a UK or USA release?

There's a fourth Phoenix Wright game? And it doesnt have Phoenix, but someone called Apollo Justice? *Looked it up*

News to me!

Lifesigns, how does that compare to Trauma Centre, because I don't think Trauma centre is my bag.

There's a third one in the series? I still haven't started playing the second one! Well, probably be a while before the UK gets the third one anyway.

Have they changed the graphics, music or is it all cut and paste? Well, I'll look it up!

Trials and Tribulations? Is Captain Kirk one of the defendants?

Not McDonalds or Burger King so much, but KFC.

One of many websites about it. I just picked this one over PETA on a google search.  ::)

Hahahaha!

You had me confused Fsi, until I looked at your profile and saw the long list of erm.. "budget label" games! Proves the point that I would have presumed you were a member I've never heard of though!

SilverTrumpet, thats better! Woop I've had influence on your forum activities! Go me!

Some readers of PSM3 magazine recognise my name, so it was a mistake to join the PSM3 forum as "ManicMatt", nobody knew who I was! Ah well...

Some members on here who I don't see posting very often, I might remember them by their avatar, so if for example "Bluesman Ben" changed his avatar and posted again, I'd probably not recall them before. I might now Ive talked about them, of course, just an example.

I think this is why Dan N Gamez changed his name, to lose his reputation. But here I am referring to him by his old name still!

EDIT: Silvertrumpet: You dont even HAVE an avatar, so if you changed your name I wouldnt know who you are!

Was Haddas showing off his songs on fruity loops all day?  ;)

I guess I could always re-install the latest quicktime if installing 2.0 overwrites it somehow.

Naturally I tried installing it without quicktime 2.0, and thats when I get a message saying the game won't work without it. Even with it, I have no guarentee it will work! I'll see what happens then, thanks!

I really wanted to get Starship Titanic to work though, I hear good things about it.  :(

..becuase I looked up his old username's posts and couldn't find anything interesting offensive. ;)
Me too! Either we have too much time on our hands or we don't know how to use it productively.  ;)

Hmm, thanks!

I did that, and I no longer get the error message. However, it still plonks me back into windows, but the sound effects are playing normally.

I guess I could try DOS Box...

EDIT: Or not. Doesnt work as a DOS game. Argh!!

NEXT GAME I CAN'T RUN!

That would be The Dark Eye. It wants Quicktime 2.0. I don't.

Why oh why must I want to play these games made over ten years ago?!

Hello,

I am trying to run Douglas Adam's Starship Titanic. I can install the game, start the game, but as soon as I put a cd into a computer (In the game, not real life), the loading screen on the monitor in the game comes up, but then I am taken to the desktop, with this error message and the music is doing that awful error noise when it stutters indefinetly on the same bit of sound:

Ive already used the old codec to make the animation work in the game, that I found out from googling it in the first place.

I can't see any mention on google at all about this .DLL and starship Titanic. Any clues anyone?

(I wonder if I'll get these other old games I got to work...)

Apart from Star Trek that I got on amazon, these games could have been for sale in my shop, but there was no way I was letting someone else buy these gems! So I'm the proud new owner! Most of the games here are in great condition, Blade Runner is mint!

The whole big boxed collection:

My doodlings whilst playing Hotel Dusk on the DS. Sorry it's blurry, but at least it hides how crap it is. YOU try drawing on a DS!

The best advise I can give you is to take their advise. Serously. Don't take your time, get it sussed immediately. My girlfriend's PC had a similiar problem, and I offered to take a look at it. She said it wasnt necessary and that her brother knows more about PCs than I do. Pfft.

Weeks pass and their problem has gotten so bad that the trojan has killed their access to the internet. I look at the problem, and advise that they need Hijackthis. I tell them to leave the pc off and wait until I come back the next week with the program. Do they listen? NO! They keep playing games on it and BOOM the computer just won't even turn on anymore. Dead computer.

OBJECTION! The witness will not be harrased!

Ooh sorry thought I was playing Phoenix Wright for a second.
