A day before isnt against the law, it's just frowned on. I don't care about Steam accounts, I mean IN STORE RELEASE DATE! AGH!! And the only reason I mentioned it was to save Nikolas from driving to town today to get it only to find he can't have it! (Unless the store is cheeky and sells it early, but Game and Gamestation will NEVER do this.)

Online shops seem to get away with it for some reason, beats me on that front. It doesnt seem fair that an online shop can sell it before a real shop can.

Friday is the official release date for games in the UK. Just like albums come out on mondays. There are sometimes AAA massive titles like Halo 3 that do it on another day, but The Orange box isnt one of them. If I got the delivery of a game in my shop, I could sell it ASAP, but the supplier would want me to sell it on friday. If I did sell it and get caught, I could be refused the delivery of future games until ON the day, which would suck because they don't arrive first thing in the morning. (At a guess, I wouldn't know what a supplier would actually do.. Argos got away with Halo 3 for example.)

If Thursday was the official release date, then I would have been allowed to order the game on tuesday in time for thursday. I wasn't.

Trust me on these things, it's my business to know about it. 

I'm hoping that 2d remake of Simon 3 will be completed, so I never have to play the 3D version for closure on the cliffhanger ending of 2! Curse you, cliff hanger! 

For UK gamers, The Orange Box isnt out until tomorrow! It's being delivered to my shop today, as well as Eternal Sonata and Zelda for DS, but it's my day off! I'm tempted to call the shop later and ask my colleague if they're in, so I can play em all today! Otherwise I won't have time to play them much for a few days.

Other than that...

..they could make a game for Blind people.

Gilbert Goodmate, ah that game was originally going to appear on the Amiga. But it didnt. And then the graphics were different on the PC.

PS: HA! I have 2 curse of monkey islands in stock! Sold one the other week. And that Larry suit Larry isnt there, was sold. You know what I do? I order another one of each! Except when
king's quest, police quest and space quest go, they've never sold. 

What the hell is Lula? Is that the game before Lula 3d? Which IS in my shop second hand, never sells...

If you have a playstation 2, then Music 3000 has a learning curve of sorts. When I first had that program, years ago, I'd use mostly pre-made loops for my songs. Where as the last time I used it to make an album, I just used pure samples of music in the program and composed my own tunes. It was quite flexible too, in the way that it advertised it could be used to make pop, dance, indie and rap music, and I made an industrial album. I then moved on to Fruity loops, made a crap album, then made a great album. (IMO obviously)

In the second scenario, I can't imagine there are many guys who would be totally fine with it. I know I wouldn't. I'd freak out if my girlfriend told me she has a crush on someone. I don't know whether I'd call the man in the second scenario a great man or a liar.

The first scenario.. why would the girl "go along with it"? That seems wrong. And how did this guy phone her? She must have given him her phone number.

I should point out incase it's not clear, it's GAMEWORLD, not Game. Small indie store (thats big in size), not the evil "Game" stores. Ooookay!

"Secrets" had music I made with Music 3000 on the ps2, and on-hold game  "Limbo" has music made using Fruity Loops and a load of plug ins.

It sounds good. Better than Kid A, but I didnt like what I heard on that. Did I pay for the download? Well... someone sent me the file so.. I'll probably buy a physical copy of it because I'm materialistic or something.

2001 was, for me, THE YEAR OF HELL!!

I split with my (Crazy) girlfriend, was bullied out of a job, and worse of all my grandma passed away.

This year, by comparison, must be THE YEAR OF HEAVEN!!

I got a job managing a game store, I met the girl of my dreams (6 months and counting), although my grandma didnt rise back from the grave I must say. However I've never been more content and happy before in my entire life, even if my hair has started to recede.  :o

Really? If I could have my true dream job, but the pay was slightly lower than I am on now, in my realistically attainable ideal job, I'd go for it.

I only have their "OK Computer" album, and Thom's solo album, so I don't know if I'll like it yet. If I did, I'd probably pay about 3-4 pounds... or I'd probably wait for a physical copy because I like having physical discs with the art and such, and maybe have a free download in the meantime teehee!

Ah, moving thread, how you been? ANSWER ME!!

So today then, I interviewed some people for the vacancy of sales assistant. It's strange to be on the other side of an interview, never imagined I'd be in that situation! I've already decided on the right candidate, and don't look foward to telling all the other people they haven't got the job. But I'd rather put them out of their misery than let them wait in agony and never tell them.

Second of all, there were three gypsy twats on the bus today. They were loud, annoying and wanted to piss everyone off. One by one, everyone was going to the bottom half of the bus. I figured I'd do the same, but a young girl was up there so I didn't want to leaver her up there with those jerks. So I let myself be the next target rather than her. They started chucking crap at me like as if we're in school, so I turn around and threaten them. Naturally they start chucking more stuff, till they run out of ammunition. The biggest guy (It WOULD be the biggest guy) comes over as I'm gonna get off, and blocks my path. I tell him to get out of my way. He aint budging. So I make him move. I push him to the side, but still can't get through. So I elbow him in the back twice cos I am seriously pissed off now. I finally clear the path and head down. they gob on me as I go down, or at least, they gobbed on me at some point, it's on the back of my coat. Bastards. The bus driver starts shouting at them and then I leave.

I then go to Asda supermarket (Owned by USA company Walmart) and there are the three twats being chased by security guards! Honestly, they were such gits I'm surprised they haven't been battered into oblivion by a gang yet.
