Mine is on that website as well but I never found a translator:

I also apparently got a poor score, but I'd still like to know what was said.

Much better!

If something resembles you, then it looks like you in some way. If something resembles xp, then it looks like xp in some way. You can't say "resembles me of xp", you'd say "that resembles xp". Got me?

Okay, so your turn..

uninstall Steam? What on earth for?

Why would I want extension names to show?

Why would I want to remove my shortcut to AGS? Or do you mean to just rename it?

Better?

Tsk, some people are so picky.

When you say resembles you  of xp, I presume you worded that incorrectly..*ahem*

So first I naturally thought Chicky was female, and now whenever Yufster says anything I'll probably think it's Chicky talking...

HAHAHA!!  ;D

Not sure if you're being serious, as it sounds like you're joking, but feel free to make a fish saving game with those puzzles! Just stick me in the credits somewhere yo.

It'd be cool to see a game inspired by my random brainstorming!

That's disgusting! Tell your sprite to put it away!

(I like his face though hehe)

I made the gif for Nik! ^_^

You and I have been skyping so it doesn't really feel like you've gone anywhere for me!

I still suffer from having any AGS game's music jump when I go to another room.

And thus, we can only know so much from two screenshots!  ;)

Joe Carl: Good to hear that you continued with the game.

The graphics are okay, but it was a man in a prison cell pulling out a loose brick, which we've all seen before. I'll still give your game a go when it's made though!

Yeah my first game was a bit like that!

My supposed tips:

1) Try to avoid generic puzzles like using keys/keycards.

2) Start off with the goal in mind. Work your way backwards! Say there is a lonely man in a house who's fish died, and he wants a new one, and your goal is to get him a fish. Now you could either go for a lake/canal scene, or a pet shop. Think which place could generate more interesting puzzles. Heck, if it's a silly game you could attempt to rescue a fish from a restaurant! Lets use the lake as an example. So there's your lake, and you want to get the fish swimming in it. You can't fish, but there is a fisherman here who can. Okay, you want him to get your fish for you, but it would be too easy if he could just get it for you by you asking him. So lets make him unco-operative. Perhaps we want to fool him into catching our fish? Maybe either blind him, mess with his rod when he isnt looking, or convince him the fish is a rare find! Then if he catches the fish, he'll want it for himself, ergo another puzzle!

The next puzzle being that you gotta convince or steal the fish off him.

Ermmmm... I just made that up off the top of my head. Did it help you to see the way I think when making puzzles? (Thats how I do it in my work in progress anyway)

I don't know if my game "Limbo" is one with "bad graphics" in your opinion, but I shall defend myself just incase... otherwise I don't have much to debate.  ;D

First of all, people have played my previous game so they already know that I make up for below average graphics.

Second of all, just like Nikolas said, people will comment on my game because they know me on here and wanted to give their support for a friend.

Personally I don't like the graphics in "Legend of the Lost Jewel" but that's down to personal taste. I can however see that the graphics are very well drawn, but I don't like the colour style used. (EGA, VGA, whatever it's called)

Ergo I have not posted a comment there!

And to think I was going to go legit and buy Vista. Screw that! I read the article and wondered if it was actually April 1st today!

I make negative values in the animation views, but it seems doing it in the quick animation command is useless. EDIT: Ah, I see Ashen, thanks.

*Adds Ashen to the planned thanks bit on the credits*

62 is purely his idle animation, not his normal view.

I think making it -8 delay had made the idleview not start from the first frame when I entered the room, and screwing the game up as well it seems.

Because those things never make any sense to me and I mess around with them till the speed works properly. Is that why it isn't working? And if so, please enlighten me as to why!

Oh hey, setting the delay to 0 made the animation play! Thanks!

Okay.. what the hell? I thought it was some master option of changing the speed just like in the animation views. They're both called delay, after all!
