Lovely graphics, neat animation, amusing dialogue and challenging puzzles! Although sometimes the puzzles were made harder for the wrong reasons. I'll PM you about it.

You had me up untill 3am trying to finish the game! (Which I did)

Spoiler
The game doesn't appear to exist when I try to run it.

I like your animating, but unless your game is a rough sketch style, ignore R4L! :P :)

Hmm I am going to make my post useful by suggesting you post some artwork from the game, as we don't know what style it should be. Cartoony? Realistic?

Hints & Tips / Re: Carnival of the Damned

Yes I have used AGS, and I made the game "Secrets" with it. Feel free to seek thine retribution and slate the game if you so wish.

I also had a team of beta testers who found terrible bugs in my game before I realised it.

It's easy to fix, yes, but it's a hassle for others to come across the bug, and then have to patch it.

Your game might have come under less critiscm if you had made an original game with your own graphics. It's only becuase you ripped from a game loved by so many that people will be harsh on you. You raise the bar for expectations by immitating a Lucasarts adventure game, rather than a homemade effort. I am basing this knowledge from reading past game threads of similiar fan-made games. Or heck, just see what people's reactions were of the new Sam 'n' Max, people were harsh because they expect it to match the quality of the previous game.

Oh man! You just ripped the graphics from Hugo the troll and made your own game with it!

I probably posted in this thread ages ago..

My profile is more like half personal and half music actually. (See sig)

I also run Jesus Jones' myspace profile now! And the keyboardist and drummer are on there to tell me of any news!  ;D

And if that wasn't cool enough, the lead singer sent me an email thanking me for my efforts!  :D

It was my own idea to make the profile. Every other band ever has profiles, so it annoyed me that JJ didn't have one.

Oh, well okay I'll let you know I did download it and listen to a few tracks!

I'm not into progressive rock music, so while I can perceive the talent on display here, it's doesn't do anything for me personally.

But I'd rather listen to this than most prog rock i've heard!  ;D

I guess you mean how the houses' edges are so round that the houses look like they form a circle. However, it's cartoony and quite frankly I like it, and it doesn't suck.  :P

EDIT: I should explain why I like it. The roundness of the houses makes it feel they like are looming over me, all empowering, and defensive!

chocolates, chocolates chocolates

Indeed, I will be going on a diet when all the chocolates are eaten!
And the pringles.
And the biscuits.

Oh, you mean "You will run out of toilet paper in: X days"

I'm with you now!

Hmm, lets give it a try...

"You late: 12 days"

Come again? What do you mean by late?

So it doesn't actually work as a screensaver then, it's just for a laugh!

The whole point of a screensaver is to change the whole image on the screen so the monitor doesn't get image burn.

And as always money back  if not satisfy :)

He didn't get your sense of humour here.

I tried the screensaver, and sorry to say mate, but a cartoon man peeing on the screen doesn't really make me laugh. Also, aren't screensavers supposed to hide whatever was on the screen so it doesn't burn an image?

Sorry to be so negative for something you are giving away..  :(

At first my xmas crazy outfit (My xmas tradition) was me dressed as a lady! (And so was my brother)

I can't bring myself to show you that just now, but here is when I got bored of being a lady and went to town on the make up.

Voh, that sounds somewhat insensitive.  :-\

EDIT: Infact, I seem to be quite irritated by Voh's statement! It IS a loss to the world of art thank you very much, as he made a big impact in the music scene, and musicians and fans all over the world who loved his music will feel the loss of their respected musician. Maybe it's just the way you phrased it that gets to me... It's like saying it wouldn't be much of a loss if Ali the boxer died as he doesnt step in the ring anymore. See how cold that sounds? I know that's slightly different to what you're saying, but it sounds the same.

*waves at Mr m0ds*

Well I joined here in Oct 2005 shortly after getting a computer!

I started making one game, and made MANY mistakes and didn't release it. Learned many things though.

So this year was more productive because I actually released a game! Secrets has been downloaded 938 times so far, which I am pleased about. Especially as I thought it would sink without a trace 'cos of the graphics! 938 might seem like a small number to some more experience game makers on here (?), but little ol' me done good for a first game!

I'm already working on another game, but that's a 2007 title! (And having all that game making experience under my belt is making this new title better! Yay I learned things!) Okay so obviously this year is my most AGS-productive as I've only been here for around 14 months!

Oh, I also ditched one game, this silly photographs-glued-together-in-photoshop game where the people spoke from me taking two photos of them. One with their mouth open and one with it shut! That sure looked funny! I am going now. Later.
