I'm the same way! Reactor 9 is a good recent example of the puzzle at the end (Providing you were trusted enough to see this) when..
Spoiler
Matt has to take down the bad guy.

It was pretty easy, but made you feel smart for doing it. I like end puzzles like that. (Also like in Secret of Monkey Island)

Indeed, my own game had a bloody easy end puzzle! (How many of you inserted the blood disc into the slot? hehe.)

Use the same techniques on other sprites. If you never take these tips to you, you never improve! Or... In a much slower rate anyway.

Read my last post.

QuoteI don't see that you actually took this crit (the arms) into considerations in your edit at all, even though it's what I'd say is the most anatomically incorrect here.

I looked, I thought they were fine to me. Yes, about three pixels too short if he was real. But if that bothers you, you'll hate the backgrounds..  :-\

the ears seem a little too big.

Intentional! Thanks for the crit, but I am moving on to other sprites and backgrounds now! I can't improve this guy TOO much, that would make the other sprites look inferior, although I have learned some things about what to do when I draw the next sprite.

TheWalrus: Thankies! You'd like to beta test this game too? Cool, okay!  :D

They scrapped it because LucasArts were releseasing MI 3 and had announced Grim Fandango, suddenly their graphcs were outdated.

That sounds JUST like Blizzard to do that! Console owners have been waiting an eternity for Starcraft: Ghost. Something about it never being released until the developers think it's perfect. I think it'll never see the day then!

man did that stink   Whats with your backgrounds  all rip sprites from Maniac mansion. Looks like you really quickly copy and pasted a bunch of stuff to make it.  No new stuff at all

Are you sure he didn't play his OWN game?  ;)

Galaxy is Mars, last I knew.

EDIT: And this website we're talking about agrees with me!

Cheers! I took your horn design and curved them, and made the feather outline colour darker. Seems to have done the trick!

Your site is a listing of chocolate? Why?

You promote Nestle. Boo!  >:(

Thanks!

Better?

Increator: Well.. this would be his side view, actually!

Okay, I think I am happy with him now! Cheers guys! When I come to making a character in my game do a walking animation, I always suck at them, even with tutorials, so I'll be sure to put it up here when it inevitably is made and sucks!

I see what you mean. How could I make them look more like wings? (Think Gabriel or (Arch)Angel from X-men)

Same for the horns? (Except I like the shape of them)
#1652
Don't worry, he isn't any particular mythical species, I just wrote that because I needed to describe him right now, for the time being.

I guess Faun is more accurate though. But then he has angel's wings, but he's not an angel either!

I think his hands are fine where they are, thanks! Note his trousers are hanging rather low.
#1653

Thanks! I changed his eyebrows and hair on my own initiative.

Moved the beard.

Raised his left shoulder and hid the hand.

The left horn is tricky for me because of the angle he is facing.

I have the itch to make another game! Before I go animating this guy, I have to ask:

1) Improvements before I animate him? His left hand is bothering me. I won't do any shading or extra colours because it will put me off animating him! I made this guy much smaller than the last cartoon guy I did for even more easier animating! Anatomy isn't very important because he's a cartoon, unless there is something that looks just plain wrong to you!

2) Secondly, would you like to play a game with graphics like these? Is it preferable to my previous game's sprites? (In my signature)

I want to get married.

Ah ha! If I get married to m0ds he can get his photos!

Wait- I wanted to get married to a female, I just remembered. Oh well.

I hope the background is allowed.

Poor Tom was confused about his fooduality.

I didn't count the colours.  :)

The motivation for the spammer is to find a "live" e-mail address. That is... a human being is on the other side, reading it. So, the GIF thing is a trap -- when you open it, you validate your e-mail.

Didn't someone else just say this?

Yes, but what's the point of spam that only contains a random poem?

How about... person recieves blatant spam. They ignore it. Person recieves poem with the GIF Jimmy mentioned and has a read - BAM! - the account is live! They get loads more spam!

My brother's laptop is broken. He has an ipod. And there wasn't enough room on his hard drive to keep everything he ripped off discs, so it was mostly deleted after he transferred the files to his ipod. Now he is within reach of another computer - mine. However he tells me that if I install the ipod software on here, and he plugs his ipod in, he will lose all the music on it if it's not in my library. DRM or something, I presume. This of course, sucks, and I am glad my mp3 player is not an ipod.

EDIT - Also, his CD collection is in another city, out of reach for the time being.. and I don't like the idea of ripping 500 discs to my computer either!

No idea, I thought it was to evade the spam filters. But I wouldn't recommend opening spam if you know it's spam. Why risk potential virus infections?

EDIT: Oh, there you go then!
