I really do think it is your security settings! Where does this .swf file link to on the internet? Is there a way of finding out? If so, try typing the address into the bar inside the "trusted zones" in your media player. Sounds a bit risky security wise to me though.

Did .swf stop working for you when you installed SP2? That's what it is about in the above link.

You could just play the .swf file in IE, apparently, because as far as I can tell, a .swf file links you to the internet, and that's why windows media blocks it, because maybe your security settings are set too high.

Also, have you heard of google? It's great!

And then download Spybot- Search and Destroy and be sure to activate the "tea timer" mode.

Not my weirdest dream by a long mile, but I'll tell you this one because I think it's amusing:

I was spiderman. I was in some bad guys lair trying to destroy some hi-tech computer machines, but I couldn't destroy them. Then superman came along and started destroying them with ease and I was jealous that he has better powers than me. I then went home to my girlfriend, and went to bed sulking. I kept rolling out of bed and would use my spiderweb power, to shoot at the bed, to pull myself back in.

Yeah, I agree with Increator about the characters. See, with the smallest of changes I've made them instantly different to each other, and gave them eyes that can express emotions.

I'd also change the axe for a guillotine, but that might be a personal choice.

I couldn't make out what the first sample was saying.

The second one was easier to understand, so that's already the better one.

The third one was still mumbling-ish like the first one.

His voice could potentially be alright, but it sounds to me like you're not feeling comfortable enough in front of the mic? Practice speaking more clearly.

Also, how is the character feeling about getting some mail? Right now, in the first sample he sounds almost pleased to have mail. but the others sound like he doesn't care. It's all in how you accentuate each word.

I would at least advise that the hammer is not obscured by the speech bubble.

I like their names, "Blip" and "radar" hehe.

It might also be worth telling them that THEY can make games easily and for free, too.

Well, first tell them about AGS and what it does, and then mention some games made with it maybe, and describe your own game. Maybe print out some screenshots of things to keep it interesting?
