Yeah I know he died, but he didn't become evil!

(And if you ask me they should kept him alive and had a spin off movie where the council gets corrupted and he gets kicked out, and the goes to kick some ass!! I'd call the film "Sith in a council" great name eh!)

Ahh I see!

Well.. I'm torn between Chicky's and Nihilyst's! Chicky managed to edit it without having to darken the whole location though, but oh I dunno... I'll see them in game and see which looks better.

(And I learnt to use the dodge tool on another photo! :)   )

There is treason everywhere but only the good, white, guys remain truthful to the republic and the good ways of the jedi. Plus a black guy who unfortunately was not a jedi... hmmm... (Not really a political comment though, just an observation...)

I wouldn't have noticed such a thing, but now you mention it... wasn't Samuel L Jackson's character a good guy all the way through??? Did I fall asleep when he turned to the dark side or something?

Which black guy who wasn't a jedi, anyway?

I'd love this option for my mini game, with full screen characters talking. I've got that working, with them animating, but the text box just slaps itself more or less in the middle, right over the people's mouths in some cases. Is it possible to change where the text box is?

If not (As I fear), is there a work-a-round solution?

I agree with you Nik, and I also found them to be really boring at times. (And I watch Star Trek for god's sakes!)

The third one was probably better than the second one, with all that mush in it.

It took me a whole minute just to figure out what the images were of, Haddas!

I.. don't know what you're getting at. Was the same effect applied to both images? Is that it? And why?? What for? Me confused, again!
#2127
ooh much better! I might just nick that, if you don't mind!

Maybe I'll make that shadow under the head less.. um.. whats the word? well make it more subtle anyway.

Thanks! :)

EDIT: Or, perhaps for me to learn something, how did you do the lighting on the top of the body?
#2128
Hows this, based on advice by Candall?

Chicky, yeah... you made it worse. Sorry to say. I do like the lighting you did there though. Glad you had fun on it!

I did everything Candall said except the lighting and shadows. How would I do shadows?

I'd resize me but.. I got excited and flattened it and saved it as a PNG. Whoops.

EDIT: Jesus, it doesnt look like I did anything??

Hello all!

I'm making a mini game for a bit of fun, and using photos taken with my mobile phone. Now here I've put a body (me) into the scene, but it still looks really fake. Can you think of any photoshop methods I could employ to make him look like he's there more so?

*cough* Oblivion *cough*

I still like that game, mind.

Ali is right, and I thought the same.

*Doesn't bother to look at the tutorial*

Don't know what it suggests, but this is my quick and dirty edit of how I think the colours could be better:

EDIT: Also, perhaps if you just had the one kind of star, like the one on the top right and had that sprinkled everywhere in different sizes.

Now Ali's I like, but on this game's backgrounds, the outlines conflict with the level of detail in the objects. It's like two different styles trying to live together, but they don't match.

The warner backgrounds worked, and I can't remember them too well though, but I don't think they had much detail to begin with?

'phoning it in' hahaha

and 2ndly, maybe there is a reason a girl has to find a boyfriend on the internet.  :o which is usually a good enough reason for you to stay away from an internet relationship with the girl.  :o

What are you saying about Thomas VoàŸ?  :'(

I've met girls off the net, and they were nothing like they were on the net.

I try to avoid getting into some kind of "internet relationship", and just be friends with people. Sure, there are at least three girls in the world wide web that would happily be my girlfriend, but they haven't met me so how can they be so sure? (And why are they always in other countries dammit??!!)

What the hell??

I have firefox, and it disables adverts and such with a plug-in, so maybe you also somehow got some crazy plug-in that screws things up?

This is a wild guess, as I have never heard of your problem.

Take a look at this game. Why have they got big thick lines around everything, and sloppily done too. It doesn't work for me at all. Is this some way of making it easier to use photoshop in some manner I do not know, or is it supposed to look stylish?

What do you think?

(Oh, and hooray for another adventure game demo on gamer's hell.com)

FINE FINE!! Made it into a link.

Did anyone find it even the least bit amusing...?

By the way he just looks like a past female English teacher of me.

Like this?

Oh I get it! You meant to say "Past female teacher of mine." Ahh my bad!  ;)
