First of all, ecstasy for the eyes.

Okay, you know me and my skill levels, so...

That moon don't look right to me. Not only is it a weird shape, no? But I dunno, it doesn't look like its in the sky to me, it's too sharp around the edges maybe? Or maybe the moon is too big?

and the welcome sign looks like I just drew over your painting. Sorry. and the 'W' looks like a "H".

yeah you said not to crit your drawing, but the painting.. well whatever, do you agree with me or not though at all?

Otherwise fantastic man!

Love the graphics!

I am bit concerned though, your gaming structure sounds like hard work rather than fun. PROVE ME WRONG!!

ooh, so my trying to help consequently led you to the solution!

:) Now I feel I helped, and get a feeling of satisfaction in knowing this!
#2146
Right, so erm... did we help??

Failing what they said, I found this which sounds a bit like your problem. (read the whole thing)

http://help.lockergnome.com/security/Big-Problem-Virus-Trojans-Spyware-ftopict9098.html

Maybe you should try that particular program they mentioned that found it.

Hmm thats a toughie, I'm looking into it.

Can you delete the folder from DOS?
#2149
Ah my bad it didnt come up, probably cos it's not classed as a game.

You can't even get it on amazon.

I think you just have stores with old crappy games mr limping fish.  :P

On rails shooting, whoop pee doo dah.

This thread however has sparked memories of that Motorhead beat 'em up. Which was good, but didn't work too well on my Amiga 1200. (And then not at all when I upgraded it)

I just played the demo!

Mordalles: Is your PC really old hardware wise or did the patch speed things up? The game ran smoothly and my computer handled it easily.

I think the game works in 3D myself. The graphics while not next gen level, were good enough to be pleasing to the eye.

What did annoy me though was how lines of speech didn't flow properly between characters, and they'd talk over each other; a fault I have seen in videogames on the PSone.

Oh, and sorry but those tree's do really look like 2D trees, but meh.

For that matter, the folks at the Morrowind forum were complaining about all the features that were in Daggerfall that didn't make it into Morrowind.

Haha you're absolutely right!
#2154
Hey! You should see the forum for Oblivion! The majority there spend their days moaning that it's not as good as Morrowind.

Oh and, knights of the old republic is a classic game.

Anyway having just played the broken sword 4 demo and decided I'm going to buy it, a game with 3D graphics, I am also not going to sign this petition, which is full of errors and bullshit.

(Broken Sword is nice for its 3D graphics, but they've yet to create a good control system)
#2157
Hmm that suggests to me a problem with directX9.0? I think that dll you mentioned is integral to it. Have you got directX 9 installed?

Have you any other games that use 9 and have no issues?

EDIT: Also, I have completed the demo, and I will say you'll like it if you liked the previous game, pretty much. Not a lot has changed. The graphics are nice and I got a smooth FPS (Hardly surprising given the nature of the game), the controls are simple but also annoying, at least you can click on the floor to move as well instead of the arrow keys, but sometimes the floor cannot be seen so you must use the arrow keys. The puzzles were typical broken sword affair, I just hope the demo was early in the game as the puzzles were really easy.

I was just about to say, teachers should just tell you the facts. Unless they're teaching religious studies. I think that's almost the layman's terms for what Helm just said.

Woohoo Gamershell.com have got the new broken sword demo! (And probably so do other sites)

I'm downloading it now, thought you'd like to know about it!

Although I'm concerned about the genre they've labelled it as: "action"  :-\
