The only good thing Pink ever did in her life is hire female bassist of Hammers of Misfortune for touring

Wow, it's not often I name a band Helm hasn't heard of. But surely you've heard of One minute silence, if not "pink punk"?

But nice to know Pink contributed something good in the music world!

I'm guessing you haven't played commercial game Still Life? That's about a killer on the loose and a detective, to put it simply.

This is great rock, isn't it???

I can't wait to see Helm's opinion on this band again either!

let me see, not only do I think he's going to say they aint great, but he's also going to say they aint rock.

In other news I got Pink Punk's album. It's the lead singer from One Minute Silence (What does Helm and Petra think of them by the way?) doing rap over electronic and experimental-ish music.

Edit: Why shouldn't I post there if I have something to say?

Because we are oppressed by the moderators under strict rules. And like mindless puppets, we obey. (Occasionally)

Seriously though, they just don't like having old threads popping up clogging away the new ones. Or something like that. I've been here for ages and I still don't get it.

Oh, right, my favourate bands:

Jesus Jones
Stabbing Westward
The Wonder Stuff
The Faint
The Soup Dragons

This really doesn't begin to define the genres I listen to though.

*Plays song while browsing*

Not sure about the "Helloooo!" bits in the so- Oh that was just the annoying face pack adverts on the internet. It did fool me for a split second!

I like the little solo thing three quarters in, although it maybe went away too soon. I think the guitars could do with a little bit more variety in them, they have the same kind of rythym all the way through, don't they? EDIT: Oh it's not just me then, Nikolas!

It's a grower lyrically alright though! I'd be keen to hear this song with the drums! Vocals suit the style of song.

EDIT AGAIN: Actually, the solo thing is just the right length after hearing it again. How would this song sound with some backing vocals, that are slightly higher in pitch?

Makes me think about when on the news they'll say "*80% of Leicester agrees with the decision to eat cheese" and I'll say "they never asked me!"

okay that example never happened but you get my point, right?

Can anyone tell me what it means when I download something and a window pops up saying "invalid menu handling" and I don't get the download?

I like it mostly because it reminds me of a song I wrote with similiar beats sounds. (But slower and less catchy, intentionally)

This song would fit right in on Zak Mckraken if he went somewhere suitable to that music!

Grundislav could INTEND to make 12 cases and have case 11 end on a massive cliffhanger and then axe the series. Then you'd still have 12 cases including the remake!

Ahh.. Space above and beyond...

The TV has been bothering me. It looks like it has two legs where the couch is. And now the person above me is confused. I think the TV was far better when it was transparent.

You have a futuristic lift and the doors have no handles. Is it like star trek/a supermarket where the doors have sensors and automatically open and go inside the wall? That would look cool.

Hey Petra! There's a whole thread just about the Eurovision song contest in the general discussion area, go check it out!

Yes... Helm... When not staring in Rogue Trooper or listening to music that has guitar solo's that go on for ten minutes he likes to scare away potential AGS members!

But he can make me laugh. Ho ho.

Yeah, the half of Greece that didn't participate in the voting is complaining. Probably.

Just one TINY TEENY thing that annoys me.

The "w" on the "wc" that has one side of the w bigger than the other. (two pixels wide)

(EDIT: And before anyone says it, I'm aware it's the font they used)

wait, so it's a toilet? I thought it was a fridge.Ã,  :-[

At least put a door knob on it!

Otherwise I like it, reminds me of little computer people! (The angle)

Well done Finland! Metal definitely deserved to win. I didn't watch it but I heard about it. And I heard "Greece" wants to get Lordi banned. Great stuff :D

I'll send GWAR to Greece then. They'll LOVE them.

HANDE HOCH! After all that hassle it seems to be working again. Still, it made me remember to clean up my hard drive and defrag it.

General Discussion / NTL technical problems
Mon 22/05/2006 22:44:24
Is anyone else having technical problems tonight who has NTL for their internet provider? (You poor, poor people)

I'm not sure but certain web pages are not loading up (Page not available) or they don't have all the images load up (with an "X" like a broken link) or even most of the design missing (Like looking at a site with webTV or a mobile phone).

What I'm not sure about is whether it is the problem NTL's engineers have posted or it's something else..

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem, which would put my mind at ease to know it's not my IE that's gone kaput.

NTL put this:

"ntl broadband customers maybe experiencing slow/intermittent webpage browsing due to a network fault. We are working to resolve this fault as quickly as possible. We apologise for any convenience caused."

The mostly rubbish broadband medic that NTL offers tells me there is no internet connection problem but it's the actual internet explorer. Is it talking out of it's AI arse?

Yeah I know, just ask kinoko!

I re-edited my post incase Kinoko was wanting to scare the beejesus out of everyone... considering you all bit my head off after I revealed the April 1st thing to be a joke.

Holy shiiit! Did he survive? I'll have to google that.

Why did the audience clap for? That was weird.

That was absoloute shit. How can people listen to them?

I will point out that it's unfair to base them on this because the quality of the sound was so rubbish.
