I don't mean in the hip-hop sense of sampling songs, nor cover versions, I meant like if a band totally ripped something off and claimed it as their own. That's not what you meant was it?

Really? Hmm if I found out one of my fave muscians had ripped off some other band's songs and made it their own, I'd no longer be able to listen to it without gritting my teeth.

with the right hardware anyone can sing

Surely they'd at least need to be in key?

I know what you're getting at though, although I suspect Mr Blunt can sing without computer aids.

I myself have started using vocal effects on my latest work, as my voice is a tad flat. Now I sound really cool! I just add things that make me sound electronic kinda like gary numan and combined that with an effect I've applied where I've made my voice sound raw and gritty. I wouldn't say that made me talentless, after all I'm writing the music and lyrics myself.

If he's played the game he'll know about the three headed monkey trick!

You are in a pub. The year is 2006. There is a copy of monkey island here.

Smiley packs? Are they those annoying banners on almost every other website that say annoying things like "Be mine!" that make me want to smash my fist through the monitor? (although still not as annoying as those adverts that hover OVER the website you are trying to read, which is the equivilant of having someone stick their hand in your face as you try to read something.)

Um, yes Flukebake, no one could be more deserving of such an award!  :P Bet you're so proud! Bet you don't even know about it yet, until reading this thread again!

What hat? That's my hair, done nice, with a pretty flower. The facial hair is also real! You hurt me!

Just goes to show that we can't really make out the image too well, what with avatar's being so small!

Well whatever is going on with your hair, it looks better down.

Hey grapefruit, why don't you have an avatar?

It gives you an identity! For weeks I thought Chicky was a hot woman! And progZmax thinks it's still christmas! And Helm with his funny disguise thingy going on! And me barely visible in the dark with a red light shining at me..... is it a sniper's sight?
#2730
Yeah! That's my copy you're talking about! Now, I'll forgive you for planning the theft if you just grab the game and post it to the following address....
#2731
Yup, the woman in the sketch is actually slightly attractive!

You got the female shape down a lot better.

One eye is bigger than the other though, no? (unless intentional, although whenever I draw a human I always bodge up one eye)

edit: I see that zyndicate changed the eye shape!

It's the crazy kid's fault. Hitting is illegal, and making fun isn't - and that's obviously the best way around. Because "making fun" can't be defined, which you seem to just ignore. Why not give it some serious thought?

You know, when I was at school the physical forms of bullying was preferable to the verbal forms. Also, it's a sad state of affairs, that when all methods of non-violent actions didn't work for me, I had to resort to physically fighting back. This resulted in a third of the kids bullying me and my friends to stop. (Leaving just the mega tough bastards)

It really is a shame that I have came to the conclusion that violence seemed to be the only solution. Although to this day I will leave it as a final desperate attempt with anyone opposing me.

(Sorry that's a bit off topic, right?)

Yeah Ashen, that was it! Thanks!

Hey I just got a memory in my head from reading this of some other cartoon I used to watch! But now that's bugging me...

It had i think Raccoons as the main characters? And um... one raccoon had a bent nose? dam my memory is too vague. Perhaps there was a nemesis who lived on a hill in a scary tower?

At least there was some meaning in this pointless bickering, as Kinoko got the 400th post!

Your characters don't blend well with the clouds and sky, 'cos the sprites are blocky in comparison.

I like the clouds and swirly stuff, they look real nice, but I reckon hand drawn looking sprites would benefit well with the backgrounds.
