Here's a collection of his quotes if you're crap at the game.
(Like me, only five)

You did noisy mountain? The artwork here is so different and I'd say improved! This certainly looks like a fun game!

(And your characters are drawn (on the title page) a lot like my own style when hand drawing cartoon characters! (bar the eyes) )

Possibly Thomas, after all what is orange in your language, and does it rhyme with anything? If it does rhyme then I'm guessing they removed it because the joke is lost.

I'd also like to point out that I did hint at big brother about the pirates song, before anyone else, but I figured he didn't need recorrecting like Mats was keen to point out. Ã, :P

"Ah yes big brother, the sing-a-long section!" See? See?

After playing all of them I couldn't understand why Chris Jones was on al the exes. I thought, geez, this guy makes a lot of adventure games.

HAHAHA that's exactly what I thought at first!  :D

Gilbert Goodmate? This looks way better!

*Looks on google*

Ah! I see, I was thinking of the apparently canned original Amiga version which looks entirely different.

This sure looks gorgeous doesn't it?

Ah yes big brother, the sing-a-long section!

Um yes, I think I was confusing the useless "fight like a cow" with the arm wrestling bit. That and it's been years since I played monkey island 1. Years!  :'(

this topic is turning into a "what's your fave monkey island insult?"

Mine would be the one about hemmorhoids flaring up again. Remind me people, how did that one go? "I could beat you sitting down!" Was that it?

Thankyou for your ideas!

As I said, I made this years ago, so it doesn't reflect my current abilities.

The hissing sound is because I recorded the song (and the album it's off) on to cassette, as I didn't have a CD recorder at the time. Also it will sound flat because it's on tape.

Didn't know mp3? I don't understand! What I meant by not having the data file, if that's what you are getting at, is that if I wanted to do this song again I'd have to re-write it from scratch. I don't have the save file, or even the program I wrote it on.

You're right about the drums at the end!

The original musically is utterly different, sort of tribal sounding drums and swirly guitars. I didn't even keep the original notes, just the tempo and the lyrics, and the same way of talking/singing them.

I appeciate you giving me the time of day, if you had not posted here, then nobody would have and I'd have been a sad bunny!
#2852
Neither did I. But I learnt how to, just like everyone else here!

You really should follow the simple guide in the manual for AGS and make your own indy game!

The rewards are the satisfaction that you have made it yourself!

Yeah folks I got that as well so i downloaded the new version bulought uploaded and its works now (Or I was lucky the second time round)

Loved this game! it be great!

I don't think it was mentioned that Guybrush would start with his own useless insults, like the aforementioned "you fight like a cow" and also "I am rubber, you are glue" and "I'm shaking, I'm shaking!" which were also used by the enemies when they didn't know the right insult response.

(Sorry if that was already noted..)

Spoiler

After speaking to the guy wanting games, I went back to the house and searched the bedroom and the kitchen for supplies. You should find one item of interest in each mentioned room!

Thanks Nikolas!  :D

I was starting to feel ignored...

Criticsm has aided me before in the past, so sure!

(Although I'd like to point out that I made this song in 2003 and don't have the original data file anymore)

Heh this games rocks!

I love how you gotta use them as a team! The idle animations they have are cool too.

I am stuck though... I wonder how many people will solve the bit I'm stuck on? Still, I won't give up yet!

Neat graphics, especially the close up faces.

And I really like the music bit on the bridge, if a bit short.
#2859
Yup I played the short game!

Nice graphics, nice humour.

But erm... no up/down animation, the character just slides along the floor! Hard to guess where the exits are without walking along the edges to find one. Non skippable speech, what gives?

I could complain some more but I think these are the areas you should concentrate on improving in future games!

Looks quaint!

"Nice view to turi"? Oh, do you mean "A nice view of Turi"? Yeah, after you've done your translation to english getting someone who's native tongue is english to mend the lines might be a good idea.
