I didn't see mention of this advice.. so excuse me if it was said already.

If someone's threatening me in my shop, I just threaten to call the police if they don't leave the premises, and that they're banned. If they still don't move I pick up my phone and that always does the trick.

I don't really know what you mean by a club exactly, but anyone who is abusive to me in my shop instantly loses any rights they previously had to refunds etc.

I bought it off Xbox Live Arcade, which would be a bit cheaper for me because I got discount on the points in my shop, hehe.

I liked it, and I liked the humour. Not laugh-out-loud, just amusing.

Yep, if you don't block at the right time you get dealt more damage, and in particular the last boss fight requires that you do this if you want to survive. When theres plenty of enemies on the screen and it can hairy and I'd miss an enemies' attack cos I was busy looking at my items and what to use.

Ron Gilbert, I can only guess, probably implemented the idea that you can look at various objects in the game like benches, bins etc to get an amusing comment on it.

I'd give the game 78%. Although it's my favourate Xbox Live Arcade game, having never paid for one before..

You're exactly right there! My shop offers a disc cleaning service, but we can't repair broken UMDs. I've literally thrown away PSP games cos the case is broken (And cellotaping them or whatever doesnt really work). Now I've seen replacement cases I shall see if I can get them cheap, would be beneficial.

Maybe not the same thing.. but I want to rant about it anyway now you've made me think about it.

PSP UMDs. The disc for a PSP comes in a little protective case, presumably to keep the disc stable and clean. If your case breaks, the game won't work. And I don't think anywhere in town sells replacement UMD cases, so if you don't have an online account to buy some, say off amazon, you're screwed.

The cases themselves are rubbish. In my business people sell me their PSP games. I check them before I buy them. 2 out of 10 times, the cases are broken and I reject them. They can break in a few different places too. It's like Sony made them so that wear and tear WILL destroy them so you go and buy the game again. Grr. This really puts me off ever owning a PSP.

I wasn't excited about GTA IV for a long time, as I didn't want to allow myself to get that way about a game, and then have to wait ages for it. However.. having customers ask me when the game is out in my shop every ten minutes, recently, makes it hard to forget about it!

Not when I tell you on that same day he told me he sold a UK version of Final Fantasy Crisis Core for psp (thats not out yet) for £100 at a trade shop called Cex.

I can't see them banning people for playing a game that's not released yet. Some shops do sell games to consumers a day or two before it's actual release date, and the suppliers and publishers don't like that. To punish the consumers who could have innocently gone into a shop, seen the game and bought it thinking it's come out early would be wrong.

My decline in activity on the net in a year's time has meant that I've probably lost some of that friendship online stuff..

As a manager of a videogame shop, you will see "grand theft auto" appear on my now playing list on xbox live, BEFORE April 29th  (I hope hehe)

Although according to a customer in my shop, he's already played it. Take it away oh so honest customer:

"I've played GTA IV. It's rubbish. You just take over territories like in San Andreas."

When asked how he could have possibly played it, he wasn't forthcoming with his response.

"I know people"

I've started 55 threads ever and Stupot who signed up Jan 07 has started up 53 threads. Hmm.. don't know what point I'm making there..

I've been doing mostly lurking recently.. and only became more active on here since my girlfriend left me for another man men, go figure. 

Oh, and I made one game that isn't available anymore! Maybe i'll get some webspace in the future and get it back up.

After one year of happiness with my girlfriend, she left me for another man.

I've taken up driving lessons, and I bought an acoustic guitar to learn how to play so I have something to focus my mind on during this painful time.

See if you like Idiot Pilot. I've been playing their second album to death lately, can't get enough of it. It's erm.. I can't describe their sound easily. And I dont know if they're heavy enough. (They do scream sometimes though)

In my shop this customer mentioned Yahtzee's review videos and I was surprised to hear his name and I said "oh yeah he used to hang out on this forum I'm a part of" and he went "Wow that is sooo cool!"
