Ganna -> Gunna and you really should be using "Going to"

Actually, Scummbuddy, it's "gonna" but I agree that you should rather say "going to".

Darth, yeah Revenge of the Jedi was the working title for Return of the Jedi. It was a good thing because Jedis isn't suppoused to seek revenge.

Maybe you could have a symbol over the particular place like in Sam and Max: Hit the Road so it's easier to remember what place have been found and not. The symbols of the locations of S&M only appeared after you knew about where to go next (except from Sam and Max's quaters, the carnival and the three Snuckey's places).

Is it me or are there very few pupils in this class? I mean there just five benches. A regular class at least have twenty.

Oh, I didn't see that but I still think it's about time to be updated.

I'm a bit baffled that nobody have said anything about the main page of AGS does still say version 2.62 and that you download AGS 2.62 when version 2.7 is actually released. Why's that? How come that? How come nobody ever say anything about it?

I've started to play around with the templates in the 2.7 version of AGS but when I try to test them I get this message:

There was an error compiling your script. The problem was:
In: 'Global script'

Error (line 221): 'gui' is a global var; cannot use as name for local.

This happens in both MI2 template and FOA template. What's actually wrong? How do I fix this? Does somebody know?

EDIT: The problem IS the same in the DOTT template too.

I'm sorry to say this but I think I'll sit this one out. Have too much to do and there's not much time left.

Charcoals are in Apprentice 2. Guitar in Night of the Hermit and Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders. Swiss Army Knife in No-Action Jackson.

Speaking of hose, there is one in Full Throttle.

Have these been a game:

A handful of basil
A tuba
A living mouse (not hamsters because they're in Fatman, Maniac Mansion and DOTT)
A banjo (yes, I know there some banjos in MI3 but they don't count as inventory)
A military helmet.
Some over-cooked pasta.
A monkey tail.
A leaking gas can.

I find this quite interesting. There's just some trouble with this kind of things. One of them is that we all find differnt kind of ways of scripting or making a puzzle work, so there's just not one way to do them. For the drawing, there are many turtorials on how to draw backgrounds, animations and so forth.

It's an interesting tought though.

I was going to ask the question myself but I wonder if he means antique game like Maniac Mansion, Secret of Monkey Island or DOTT or something like that. Am I correct?

Thanks for the help!

I've recently started on a Star Wars parody for this month MAGS and I've stumbled on a little problem. One of the characters is a Darth Vader spin-off called Dark Waker and I want the character to breath everytime he is around (the sound of the hissing Darth Vader breath). I have a sound for the breathing but I don't know how to script that everytime Dark Waker is around you hear the breathing. Does anyone know how to tackle this problem?

The rules sounds fun and I've got an idea for a Star Wars parody. Maybe I can make this one in time.

I'm not into Star Trek so I've wonder, what's a tricorder?

I'm searching for voice actors for my game Caribbean Mysteries. It's a pirate comedy game in Monkey Island-esque kind of humor (It was meant to be a kind of parody of MI but became sort of it's own). It's about a young man called Torleif Shufflefoot and his pet monkey Crispy who land on an island called Touché Island. There they find about a legendary treasure called The LeDrake treasure that is said to be the biggest treasure in the world, that is said to contain a big magic power that can make it's bearer do whatever he wants. Torleif decides to search for the treasure to make his pirate career a lot better but what he doesn't know yet that the search for the treasure will lead him to the love of his life, Leslie Quality, the island's Governor's daughter, and face the most evil pirate of the Seven Seas, Captain Pepe "Pepperoni" Roni, who wants to get the treasure in order to take over the world.

So far I only need voices for 4 different charaters for the demo version of game (the finished game will have around 50 characters in total).

Here's some short fact of the characters that will be featured in the game that needs voices (one character is not included because that character will be voiced by myself):

Torleif Shufflefoot

He's the hero of the game. Have recently been gratiuated a pirate course but had a bad start of his pirate career resulting him been marooned on a island. However he made a raft of old shipwrecks and timber from the island and sailed away. Torleif and his pet monkey floats around the sea for days until they discover Touché Island where they find out about the Legendary LeDrake treasure. Torleif is clever and funny but he can never play a tuba right, he can only make fartnoises with those. I want Torleif to sound a bit Guybrush Threepwood esque.

Sampleline: "Hi, I'm Torleif Shufflefoot and I'm looking for the LeDrake treasure."

Crispy the Monkey
Torleif's pet. He is a good friend and very helpful to Torleif. He is very smart so you can get his help with almost anything (even at cooking). Sometimes he tends not to do anything unless you pay him (mostly bananas or other fruit). Unlike Torleif he can play a tuba very good and is very proud of it.

Captain Pepe "Pepperoni" Roni

The meanest, baddest and most evil pirates of the Seven Seas. He wants get the LeDrake treasure so he and his men can take over the world. One thing that annoys him is when people mispronounce his name (which almost eveybody tend to do except for his first mate Mr. Smile) because his name is very similiar to "pepperoni". For his voice I would like him to sound a lot like LeChuck from the MI-series except not undead (Pepperoni is a living mortal pirate unlike LeChuck).

Sampleline: "Now that we have Leslie Quality in our hands, nothing is going to stop us from getting the LeDrake treasure."

Burga: Voice actor found!

Chief: Voice actor found!

Princess Trinidad: Voice actress found!

Guard

A quite strict guard who have the task of not letting anyone in the native village. He takes his job very seriously but he prefer not to hurt anyone. Torleif need to get past him if he wants to talk to the Chief, Princess Trinidad and Burga. For his voice I want him to sound like a strict guard with a little tingle of native accent.

Sample line: "I'm sorry, but I can't let you in, no matter what."

Old lady

Just a nice old lady who likes go shopping. She have a very strange problem, she's always afraid to cross the roads in case of cars will run over her (even though there are no cars on Touché Island). When she was younger she was a elementary school teacher and Pepe Roni was one of her pupils.
I want her to sound like a very nice and sweet grandmother.

Sample line: "You're welcome young man."

Hypnotizer: Voice actor found!

Tourist Centrist: Voice actor found!

The skull: Voice actor found!

Mr. Smile: Voice actor found!

Fred Widebutt: Voice actor found!

Ole Bergensen: Voice actor found!

Randall Rustbeard - Voice actor found!

Antonio De Alto: Voice actor found!

Barnacle Barney: Voice actor found!

Jack Swallow: Voice actor found!

ADDED: Note: Some time after I posted this I discovered that I missed pointed out one of the characters so I'll add one here.

French Waiter

He runs a gourmet resturant called the Fine Fish in Publo Puequeño. He is not only the waiter and owner of this place, he is also a cook and a disher that can handle such tasks by himself. Many customers come to this place and his best custumor, Angus McArthur, is the one who the other customers follow so they all love the waiter's fine food. I want the waiter to sound like he's born in french so he talks english with a very strong french accent (like Captain Rottingham in CMI or Raoul in Grim Fandango).

Sampleline: What can I do for you, monsieure?

Well, that's all of them. If you're interested PM me and I'll give you my e-mail to send the voice-samples to. No need to hurry, the demo version of the game is still under counstruction (the story and puzzles are finished it's just programming, animation and some backgrounds left).

I been busy a lot and couldn't figure out how to change Mark but now I changed his way of standing. I used the sprite of the Novelty-salesman wíth the cigars as reference.

Kristjan: Let me ask this: Have you played Day of the Tentacle and/or Maniac Mansion? The reason for the glasses look that way it is inspiried from Bernard (too make it sort of the toony style of what DOTT got) and the tie was drawn too big because it sort of brings out of the cartoon element (I bet that's what Guybrush Peepwood thought). Also your paintover of the tie looked identical to the original Maniac Mansion style (which is totally differnt from DOTT).

Anyway, what do you others think of this edit? If its not good enough then tell me your suggestions or maybe fix the latest sprite.

There's one thing that I think it's so weird that nobody never have said anything about:

Spoiler
In Frank the Farmhand 1 Frank got the weenies back (which someone pointed out) and fovmester said it was going to be used in Frank the Farmhand 2 but when I completed the game I got chocked that it NEVER happened because the weenies didn't even appear in the start of the game. Why's that, fovmester? If this have been changed in FF2 then maybe it's a good idea to change the weenies part in FF1.

How about placing a medical-cabinet somehow and maybe put some toilet-paper next to the toilet.
Is the room really going to look that small?

EDIT: Oh and by the way, why not use differnt colors instead of just pink? In my opinion you should make the toilet white, the sink white, the paper-can red or something and maybe orange or green for the showercurtain.
