I can't veiw the read-me file at all because when I open it the test is toatlly screwed up. Can't you just explain how you make commands for push, pull, open, close and give on characters, iventory, objects and hotspots. Please tell so I can come further in my game.

It loos almost like him from the movie but the helmet is too big.

Well, myself I haven't given up on my games yet. Hungry Caveman isn't down, it's actually put on ice for the time being and so goes for Monsters Inc that was suppoused to be in for MAGS July but I never got enough time to finish it. I may work further on those games but now I'm focusing on my first big game Hawaiian Treasure. I hope I can fix a demo before the end of the year. But I also work with other games but I don't put so much effort on thoes before HT is finshed, for an example: I work with the story for Bill Starshine, my next big game, and also trying to gather some voice actors for it (I got a good bunch but I still wait for the voice samples). I got many ideas and future projects but I don't try to focus with them so much now. I will not give up on this and I will show you guys what I'm made of!

If you need female actors talk to Azure. Here is her site: http://www.btinternet.com/~yukino/form.htm

Hope it will help. She's great!

m0ds: I think he mean British english, not American english.

Great idea! This will makes it easier to AGSers who wants something particular for their games. I wonder if juncmodule will put his SCUMM based GUIs in that forum.

No bugs that I could find but there some things I like to say about the game.

Good stuff:

Nice backgrounds and rain-effects. The dragon was quite cool and the daughter is also quite nice. Nice pick-up animation. Nice fonts.

Bad stuff:

It's very simple and way too short, too much like the other games (I've haven't played the third part since I guessed it was too simple and easy too). The dragon is too squary. You still slacks with Marian's walking! Why don't you ever learn?

I understand that you do care for your wife but can you at least give us the AGSers, the experts(in gaming, not game-creation), the cool guys us some respect. Why not make a big game with tons of cool puzzles, hundreds of in-jokes (the game didn't even had an in-joke from the Simpsons), lots of humor, lots of feeling, great animation, great music, bad guys, mini-games, battles, everything. You will never be one of the coolest if you can't make a serious games like the others. And if Superscottishhero (not YOU) is a great hero why not give him some action?
Well, I hope my advice helps you a lot and that you really are going to be more serious about making games. Good luck in the future.

I can be a beta-tester. My mail is mats.berglinn@swipnet.se if you send the game through mail.

Very nice cell-shading. However, I don't like the way you made his eyes, lip and eye-browns. Somehow it really unnerves me. Otherwise, it's great.

Just one question before I actually download this thing: Did Roy Lazorovich really use this method for his Save & Load menu for Night of the Hermit? I want to be ensure that I get what I want and not getting something that not works like it suppoused to. I hope you all understand this.

There are some jaw-breakers in Charley's office. Look in the desk.

Advanced Technical Forum / Save/load thing

I would like to make a Save & Load system that works like Night of the Hermit; you click on slots you save and you can see the previously saved slot as a pic over the situation where you last saved. But I don't know how to do such thing. And you can bring up that menu by tapping F1 button.

Does anyone know how to do that or something similar? Maybe a turitoal?

NOTE: I don't use the regular AGS/Sierra GUI but the SCUMM/Lucas Arts GUI. Why? Two reasons. 1: Too many AGS games have that. 2: I prefer SCUMM system because the Lucas Arts games where the first adventure games.

Anyway, thanks in advice.

AGS Games in Production / Re:Apprentice 2!

That's great! The first game was fantastic. I hope Pib will do a "real" spell this time and that the second game will be longer than the first one.

But there's one thing that have boggled my mind since the first try of the first Apprentice game: What is that thing on Pib's pants that his between his legs? Is that for protecting his balls or what? No offense, I'm just asking.

I like a lot of funny lines so I can't decide but one of my favorite is from Sam & Max.

Max: Yikes! We're UPSIDEDOWN!! I think I will throw up!
Sam: Throw DOWN!
Max: Whatever.

I agree about Eagles on pogosticks from GF, it cracked me up.

And this one from Curse of Monkey Island that made me laugh, about the argueing between Guybrush and LeChuck who Elaine really loves at the Big Whoop thempark.

Here's the funny part:

Guybrush: Does too, infitivy!
LeChuck: Does... daarggh! Cruse you and your diabolical debate skills.

Hints & Tips / Re:NEED CHEZ APA WALKTHROUGHT

Tell us what the problem is and we will tell you what to do. I'm sorry but there doesn't seem to be any walkthrough but you can ask on this forum. I can help and so can the other guys.  ;)

agsking: I don't need to since I have Adobe photoshop which can tranfer any file into GIFs.

Highwaygay: What do you mean with that?

Here is my logo. I know it's big but this is just for games pics. I haven't make a smaller one but never mind about that.

And I think it's SOOOOO unfair that we can't use bmps. I know they're big files but as long it's smaller than one megabit, then you shouldn't bother about it. Can someone change that back or should I make a game about killing the guys who did this?  >:(
#737
No, that's not my logo. Something went wrong with the upload or something.  :-[

That's my logo. Because there is always some or many funny things in my games, my company and logo is Humorous Games.

Looks great, but wouldn't a galleon-figure make up the touch a bit? It doesn't have to be a mermaid. And also, why how come there is no roder behind the ship?
#740
Looks great but I think the feet looks a bit weird, somehow. Maybe his arms are a bit, well... stiff. Otherwise, it's great.
