General Discussion / Re:A plan for peace ...

DM, I've respected you, and sometimes even sort of agreed with you in the past..

howver, I really...really hope you dont agree with what you just posted. The bits about the banashment of immigants is most offensive to me. As the child of people who came to America BECAUSE their own country just had a revolution, and wanted to take part of a democratic society with jobs and safety again, I find the concept of banishing them, and making them "fix their own country" VERY offensive.

and...if you'd like, I can certainly publish a "panda post for peace", if thats what I need to do in order to give me licence to bitch about our problems in your eyes, if thats what I have to do. Dont think that I havent thought about this long and hard.

General Discussion / Re: Cars

haha, my car sucks. not as much as CJ's maybe, it not very good.

I own a robin's egg blue oldsmoblie cutlass supreme, 1985. That car was made before I was. My older sister didnt take it with her when she went to uni, so I got it. Its ugly, its old, it smells, but it runs.

Its just as well. I dont "techniacally" even have my drivers licence yet. soon though...soon.

General Discussion / Re:the diet...

Im there too

5 foot 10, 132 pounds.

as for losing weight, running and weight training really are the way to go.  I dont know about any of those crazy diets though, (adkins, etc) my mom tried it once, and it didnt really do anything, but when she started to run, she lost a bunch of weight, and now that her metabolism changed, she can eat teh same.

I hope not.

Im very sad about what happened. Sweden, norway, these were some of the countries that stoof for peace, and one of the last places I would think a leader would be killed.

I hope Sweden doesnt pull a US and do something stupid and rash

look out ladies productions
#331
Hey, I just changed the name to my company to Look Out Ladies Productions, (from stinkysoft). I did this for three reasons

a) Stinky Software just wasnt funny anymore
b) its a clever homestar reference, and the brothers chaps said I could do it, so long as I cite them
c) the aconym is LOL productions, which also stands for laugh out loud. I try to make funny games, so this works out kinda well.

Thus, I made a rather large update on my website. so, check it out, tell me what else I ought to put on here, slogan ideas, etc.

thanks guys

Pumaman, I think we might need some more zoom spaces. The northwest part of america, and the east coast of austrialia are impossible to read

havent more american soldeirs died after "combat" was over then when it was going on??

sounds a bit like a crappy victory then.

When Iraq elects their own leader, and when our troops (and everybody elses) leave, then, I think we can safely say, we won. until that happens, a conflict is still going on.

thanks for bringint this back up DG...I've been doing a lot of thinking about it, and was about to make a thread about it myself.

I have a question though, thats been bugging me.
I've made a policy now, (to get me into the mindset that I need to pursue the studies and job of my choice) that im going to try not to critize anything politcal unless I can think of a better idea. When war broke out, I was hoping that this would happen, (by this, I mean go back to the UN), since the way I see it, its the only conflict can end.

if you guys were the US, what would you do now? you are all smart people, I'd like to know.

If I was the UN, I'd like to tell bush to screw himself...it would serve him right. but his choice effected millions of other people besides americans. This is now a global conflict, or at least has the potential to be one. isnt that the UN's job? to help with these?

I hope the UN helps. The USA needs some sort of accountibilty for what it did, (unless of course, it turns out that there actually was WMD...we wont know for a while.), what exactly I don't know.

Im hoping that us tradional allies can burry the hatchet, and work to solve this, as I really dont see the US being able to do it themselves.

what do you think?
