yeah, I think I remember seeing the linux kit on slashdot. it was something like 200 bucks, and when you add the trouble of setting it up, AGS would just be an interesting novelty.

awsome. can you do that for other systems? I think we talked about this before, with the ps2 being able to run linux, so, there was an outside chance it could run an AGS game..do they sell blank ps2 disks too?

but how would we get the AGS games into the cartridge form? I dont think there is a homemade way to do that is there?

I dont think i love my country itself enough to die for it. There are certain ideals that my nation, along with all demoractic nations, hold that I think are so important that if for some reason my fighting and death would somehow perpetuate those ideals then I would do it. America is nice and all, but some of it sucks. If lets say, we had a new leader that wanted to abolish voting and religous and press freedom, and there was a movement to go and kick his butt, I'd go sign up for that. I think the Bill of rights is way more important then that flag.

I admit, that if there was a draft now, I'd prob. leave the country and live somewhere else, and experiance the same democractic freeedoms that I have here. You can vote and write whatever you want in England. or in lots of other countries. Democracy isnt limited to America, and in the long run, I care more about that then this place.

this has been posted in our computer science workroom for over a year now. its amusing, but indeed, untrue and a bit old.

whoa. looks like I really fucked up my first post, cause it didnt seem to say what I wanted it to say at all.

I was not trying to shove US military might into all your faces, nor was I trying to diss anyone's family or nation.

Look, I thought the whole US-making-fun-of-france-cause the opposed the war-and lost some wars thing is retarded. I wondered to myself why, if thats what our nations leaders want to do, they didnt do the same for the other countries that opposed us. Germany, fought in both world wars (and did very well for the most part)..and still lost them both. Russia, while wining world war II, (and I might add, in a very brave manner, where they prob. should have lost, but kept fighting) but sustained massive deaths in not only that war, but every war they have fought since the late 1700's, with their minor wars in Iran, and then later, in losing the Russo-Japaneese war, one that they should have one, given their huge man advanatage and such. Why dont we call vodka liberty-juice or something? Go back to Liberty-steak for hamburgers? I'm being sarcastic here. Launching a nation-wide smear campaign b/c some other democratic nation decided to be democratic is stupid. Even the Big bad US got chased out of tiny somilia.

And look at the people who supported america? See an military giants among them? Im just trying to prove a point here. Most of these nations are eastern european countries were were overrun by both Natzi Germany and then the USSR. Or some third-world African nations that are in prepetual civil wars they cant end, and thousands and thousands more perish.

no, they like tourists. they generate lots of dough. my girlfriend is in france now. she sends my postcards about how nice they are to her. (and how the french cant drive, but thats something else.) they are also nice to her family, cause they buy stuff.

whats your dad got? mines manic depressive/bipolar. he doesnt work anymore...he's on disabilty. it sucks, cause some days he's allright, and cool, and can do dad stuff, other days he just kinda yells and cries.

I wonder why nobody makes fun of russia...they opposed the war, and their military history is almost as sorry as the french..plus, what has russia done for america? given us bond villians, and thats about it. France at least gave us the statue of liberty.

my first computer was a 386dx. it had windows 3.1, dosshell, and was 75mgz. I played my first adventure game on it, (robin hood: conquests of the longbow) my dad hadnt gone nuts yet...i was like, 7 years old, and we were the first kids on our block to have a computer with sound blaster. it was sooo cool, it made little beeping noises.
