While I have actually thought about something like this before, I doubt it would work. I have to agree with yakspit

I just realilized that this would unfairly favor short games, as those are often the most downloaded. thus, a decent MAGS game that is 1.5mg might roll over a very good, larger game, say, 6 megs

haha, I haven't had it for a month or so, if you bothered to read a few posts back. I gave it to barick, who gave it to fuzzy, who gave it to simple, and this is where we rest. lets just skip simple and move on.

5. once you see the song you want, right-click, then hit save target as

there are a lot of games that look to be coming out soon, and school is out for many of us.
The possible surge of forums posting might have something to do with the sudden activiness of the under 14 crowd, although I could be wrong

somehow bob, I guessed that.
#528
dude, if you are that desperate, just download some.
#529
is there a walkthru for this game?

The best way to find out which game is the best is to play them all by yourself and choose.

Hmm, yes, so if I want to find out whioch is the best movie of all time, you suggest I should take years out of my life to watch them all?  ???

That's not exactly what I mean. I mean play games, and choose the best for youself.

you are all wrong. its best to play a bunch of games, and pick mine as teh best

i had to do that once, dont worry, it isnt so hard, the scripting you use to replace graphics scripts is really easy to learn

I have an idea. A cunning idea, at that.

How about removing the entrance test, and let everybody register, but with the title "Beginner" or "Apprentice" or something. Then, at any time, he or she could take the "Big test" that will reward them with the title "Authorized user" or simply "Full member" or something whatever.
This test, of course, is much harder than the entrance test is at the moment. There could be at least thirty questions demanding both common sense, forum etiquette and some history knowledge.
This would of course just affect the member status, but I think that is enough incitament - people don't want to be taken for newbies forever.

Also, this authorization could be removed afterwards if the member kept behaving badly or doing inappropriate things.

I would gladly help designing such a test.

ahhh, I like this idea more then mine actually. prehaps it might be a good idea to write 45 questions, and only display say, 30, with a randomizer. this prevents a user from just clicking again and again
