Just in case it doesn't have to be Berlin, this place looks also pretty nice.

Wow, imagine demo night on that big screen!  Count me as interested for this mittens.  Hopefully I will be able to make it.  At this stage, I'm not too fussed about the location although Berlin could be interesting...

I should be able to attend again this year.  That venue looks pretty sweet!

Stick me down as interested :D

I have bought my ticket! (read it and weep teh mork lovegroove!1one).  Just got to make that demo now.... ahem!

I think the rocks are generally quite convincing and certainly fit the style.  Like poc said, you could blend the lower parts into the sand quite easily by just building the sand up against the lower parts of the rock.
Lazy paint over:

The level of sand build up would depend on wind direction so you might want to consider building it up more on on side of the background just for some variety.  Just experiment on different layers.  Remember, sand get get anywhere, It is naughty like that.

I totally missed this in the crazy mad rush!

I like the style and those characters look darn cute, especially Cuddles. YAY.

This looks so unprofessional, I have lost all faith in ThreeOhFour! :(

Seriously, this looks very lovely indeed and the story sounds very intriguing.  Can't wait to see more.

Looks good, Mr. Wellman.  I am intrigued by this four colour business...should be interesting!

I've not heard of this "Calinleafshade" before, but I am assured he makes rad games.  Also, I like the backgrounds, just add more rivets! RIVETS! ._.

Loving it Cat. For some reason I am reminded of The Incredible Machine but with added cat of course.
Whee!
#72
I love zombies! You have won me over!

He is definitely looking for his staff, don't you worry!  I was just making a naughty pun about erectile dysfunction D:

Whee, this game looks fun AND sexy.

Looking forward to another Barn Runner spectacular!

Wow, I don't think I have seen a pregnant protagonist in an AGS game before.  What a lovely idea.  The backgrounds and characters look great, well done everyone!

Love it! Another masterpiece from Ben.  I especially love the bloom, it makes my eyes horny.
#77
YES.  This looks fantastic.  I am looking forward to hearing what Ben has to say about his lack of sweets.  Remember: Add more LEGO!

@Armageddon: Reminding people of games they want to make is good. Now make that game!

@Tzachs: Thanks, I am glad you like the colours! It took me quite a while to find the right ones.  I will let you know about voice acting once I get to that stage.

@ThreeOhFiveSixSeven: The owl is a secret and also a lie!

Have this owl instead:

@FrancoFranchi: I don't think I could do Cedric justice.  Also there are no POIsonous snakes in this game so..

@Tabata: 'Losing the staff' is a common problem among men his age :(    Hopefully the puzzles are a combination of scary and mystic, but I suspect it will be slightly more mystic.  The spider has given me an idea though!

Hello! May I proudly present my game for the AGS Bakesale...

Understaffed (Working Title)

The story follows an elderly druid, Pad, on his journey to recover a staff that may help him regain his magical strength. Follow him, and his feathered companion (hoot), into the dark ruins to unearth some hidden mysteries.

Look, Screenshots!

Pad ponders about something ancient...

That tree looks suspicious...

Features:

- More than three (3) rooms of fun!
- A helpful owl (not as epic as Cedric I'm afraid).
- Gem puzzles that are not annoying (hopefully).
- Plenty of rocks!
- Voice acting in theory! (PM if interested)

Progress

Story & puzzles - 80%
Backgrounds - 50%
Animations - 5%
Coding - 15%
Music - More than 0.0001% (Yay for qptain_Nemo)

Thanks to Ben304 for drawing me the character sprite in about 7 minutes!
