trap: yes, mass will be allowing gay marrage soon, per the court order. there might be an admenmant that outlaws it in all the usa, so that might be moot tho.

I really dont know what to think about gay marrage. my religion forbids homosexuality, and I know its a sin....but so is lying and stuff, and our politicians do that! what two consenting adults do in their house isnt really my bussines...and I do stuff that my religion considers a sin too sometimes, so who am I to judge? or rather, who is anybody to judge? certainly not the US goverment. I normally ally myself with the liberals, since the thought of me being on the same side as the conseritive radical chirstain right annoys the hell out of me.

that being said, I disagree with what SF is doing right now. if they have a beef with the law, fine, take it to the courts. I bet the 9th circurt, (based in SF) would rule in their favor. for the mayor to ignore the law however, isnt the right way to go about it. for the sake of law and order, the major, and the gay's lawyers, ought to express their greivences like anybody else.

I dont have a problem with civil unions...if 2 gay guys want to hitch up and live together, fine. aint my problem.  I dont really see the difference between that and actually being "married" are

I've never had to worry about a sniper in my life.

1. I live outside a small village in Finland.
2. Everyone there is always drunk.
3. HAPPY, drunk
4. The most dangerous thing here is me... and my machete...

I live in a town with under 4000 people. Its home of a tiny, liberal arts college, (denison), and everybody here is often intoxicated. here we go...snipers.

its so random...why my town? thats whats scarey

so...if you hear of an 85' olds getting blown away by said sniper...it was me. shed a tear for me

*note for those outside of us/dont watch news* ...some guy is shooting cars in the state where I live. they used to be about 45 min from where I live. now, cars are getting nailed 2 and 3 min away

I concur with Doctor Mandarb.  I always hated Valentine's Day when I was a teen for the exact same reason (only I didn't have any guy friends either...).  Although, it pissed me off to see all these other assholes who don't know how to treat a lady getting the girls (some of these girls musta been desperate though, 'cuz they kept coming back for more :P).  While at the same time, all the girls would say to me, "Sully, you're such a nice guy...", but I had a snowball's chance in hell of ever getting a date with any of them (beleive me, I tried a few times, and was shot down like a Nazi spyplane... their excuses were so lame too...).
I might have thought we were twins after reading this.  (that is ... if I didn't already have a twin!)

I was 'The Nice Guy'.

I was the guy all the girls asked 'guy advice' from but would never have considered going out with.

I've actually bumped into some of those same girls (years later) and they've shown interest.  It's flattering, but usually they don't appeal to me like they did back then.  Funny that ...

I was in the same boat....and then every year, come valentine's day, i'd  be a bit bitter, cause I had no girlfriend. This year, I went out and found a "nice girl" (one who has the same problem of the "nice guy"...only being a girl) and it worked out. now I have a girlfriend, gave her something at school the day before (she's leaving town for teh weekend) and made her happy. I guess having a girlfriend doesnt really make the holiday that much better...but if I made somebody happy...well. thats good then. doubly so if the girlfriend.

also, I concur with layabout. my littler sister is in grade 6. girls in there get dozens of roses delivered to them by stupid 5th and 6th grade guys who prob dont even have pubes yet. kinda weird if ya ask me

I plan on double-majoring at college in music and political science. I'd like to have some sort of job in the state department, or in forgien relations. Dream Job? UN Diplomat, Ambassador, or, of course, President of the United States.

Hey, it could happen!

if public service doesnt pan out, I could be a professor in either music (jazz studies, steel drum island music, or percussion preformance) or policital science

All I have to say is that I don't have any problem with the human body.  It's a natural thing.

Most males are going to see a few breasts in their lifetime (probably a lot more once their married).  But if you sheild their eyes away from these things, they're going to turn out to be such boring losers.  In which case they're probably never going to get married and have children because no girl is ever going to want to date a 30 year old man who's never seen a nekkid woman because "mommy says it's dirty.

how then, do you explain all those mormons and catholics? they arent supposed to look at porn, and they dont have trouble getting married and having happy families.

One can choose to avoid looking at breasts and still be normal and have friends.

Until the super bowl...I had actually never seen a full breast before (well, ok. I was nursed, but I think you know what I mean), and I dunno if that even counts. I have a girlfriend. I have a normal social life. I cant see a girl ditching me cause I've never seen a tit.

I must say, I highly disagree with this statement.

I loathe madtv. its crass. its vulgar, and its stupid. they rehash some old snl skits, and make them more retarded.
I like SNL tho, but I think this season isnt so good.

I love celeb jeopardy, and the cowbell skit tho. Oh, I forgot. the famous debate between al gore and gw bush...where everything Al Gore said contained the words "lockbox"...I wouldnt do a very good job desrcibing it, but it was very funny.

Dana Carvey was great.

For someone who has "done my family history pretty far back" you seem to include an awful lot of "I guess"es in your history :P

the reason my friend, is because I dont have the giaganto book laid out in front of me. Also, after about 1500, records get really really crappy...and you can only make educated guesses after that. its down the french when we really, dont have a freakin clue.

our concrete facts run out around 1600...but the pieces of facts that we have make what my parents had laid out pretty probible. we're still workin on it
