Wow, mighty impressive artwork you got there. I love the backgrounds and really dig the character style. Jazzy reggae sounds good too.

This looks and sounds as if the four years of work are well worth it. I am so looking forward to this one.

No, you're not the only one ;) Doesn't have much to do with this thread though and with Andail's server neither. It's just that the space on 2dadventure.com which many of us heavily used seems to have vanished (or at least requires some sort of authentication). All the threads where images are linked to that site gives that annoying popup window.

Well, you don't have to use bools. Instead of having a bool set to true or false you can set an int to 1 or 0 or something similar.

You don't have to use global variables neither, but they're more practical since you don't have to import/export them.

Easy. You can't directly handle objects from a different room, but you can simply use a variable. Use a bool and change it to true after the player chose option 3 in the dialog (via the dialog request in 2.7 iirc). In room 2, turn the object visible if the bool is true (in the room load). Of course you need a global variable..

1. The awards have nothing to do with competitions. They're annual AGS awards chosen by the public and given to the games.

2. You can't just make a game and afterwards submit it to a certain MAGS. A topic and special rules are given every month and then you make a game according to the rules. Your game may indeed fit this month's guidelines, but you obviously didn't start yesterday ;)

The smooth edges look much better than the black lines. They aren't confusing and fit perfectly well into the background.

Regarding the first problem: Simply set the character's coordinates.

I don't know why the object doesn't disappear though.

Yeah, it may have been Battleships Forever, though I'm not sure since I haven't played it much.
