What's there to discuss?

It's a GREAT game with tons of professional animations and dialogs. The story is SO complex I could hardly follow. Finally the characters are VERY versatile.

@ Darth:

The file is called "compiled". What could it possibly be?  ::)

In case you just edited the .bmp files you still have to import these new sprites (and replace the old ones).

All images are saved within AGS, so the editor doesn't open image files when running/editing a game.

Wow, didn't think I have a chance with ghosts and abstaubers entries, but as always it's a matter of taste....

I don't think I have time to make a new theme for a week from now. You either wait a bit or someone else starts a new competition..

I really liked that teaser. The game sounds interesting, the music is nice and I like the idea of the two dimensions. I'll be keeping an eye on this. Good luck with further progress.

I think "ueber" and "angst" are commonly used in english, just like "kindergarten" and some other words..

Do you really care about a 100 % correct perspective so much? I'd keep it, it would hardly bother anyone playing the game, not even those who'd notice that the perspective is not quite correct...

That's strange. Are you sure, you didn't put both run-script commands in the same dialog so that they both run at the same time?

Obviously where all the other things are: at the panel on the right. There's a GUI section where you can add, delete and change GUIs.

You should probably go through the GUI section in the manual. It's in "other features" I think.

Can you click the items (e.g. use them)? If not then perhaps there's something wrong with your GUI. Do you use the given Inventory GUI?

Did you perhaps put that code in a room's script? Then it would only appear when looking at the item and being in the room at the same time. You have to put it into the global script.

Can you please make a vid on how to get a flashlight on trees to turn into strong lights in the sky moving around in formation?

With the flashlight I referred to "the freakiest of all the UFO/alien etc videos" Mods has ever seen, the
"Most Authentic ghost footage of all time???" how it's called on YouTube.

Well, all you can see is a flashlight in a wood first pointing towards the camera and then moving over some trees. That's just rediculous.

2. I want to see it myself. I don't want to see blurry footage that could be anything - faked or not faked...

And they don't matter, they're only good for appearing on YouTube? And does one need a third eye or something to spot these saucers?
What are they planning? To bother and irritate a few people at night? No contact but Eyecontact? They just want to present their latest technology to impress those savage humans..?

4. And last but not least: How come you people can live a normal life when believing that every week a flying saucer passes earth? Is it just everyday-life? Interesting but not astounding?

The strange thing is that she looks both pregnant and bellyless at the same time. I mean everything the skirt is hiding is just here legs since the knees are located on the lower part of the skirt. I know it's an 'abstract' comicstyle you use there and it looks fine altogether but I think her legs are too enormous nevertheless.

I suggest making the legs a bit thiner and/or put them a bit lower. As for the skirt: You could make it a bit thinner too, but - which could be helpful to avoid her looking pregnant - animate it, so it won't look too static and massive.


I just want to add: Great style for an adventure. I'd like to see more of that..

Sorry, mods, I checked at least half of the videos you posted and one is more rediculous than the other. If there's a tiny lightened point in the air then why does it have to be an ufo? If there's a flashlight pointing at the trees then why does it have to be an alien?

Why do you watch these videos? If you see an ufo yourself, hell, yeah, then you could and perhaps should believe that there's something going on but don't believe in such stupid faked or real footage that doesn't show anything.

It's clearly some strange and dangerous creature. If you really see this "everywhere you look", then I'd go to a psychiatrist if I were you.
