PhilRoberts, once again I leave you my contact details:

MSN: Yufster@hotmail.com
AOL: YufsterChan

You guys don't seem to be realizing something here. PhilRoberts is actually funny and can spell. Maybe he's not such an idiot as he's making out to be, eh? Eh?!

PhilRoberts kicks ass.

No way! Multiple slot kicks ass! I can't describe how much I even hated things like Tomb Raider, when you had to find Save Crystals and crap like that. The only time I've ever liked restrictions on saving is in the Final Fantasy games, when it adds to the adrenaline of the battles or some shit like that.

I thought I did, but then you said, 'Peashit' so I thought the world was going to end, and dived under a table, and hit my head off the table, and now I can't remember.

yeh maybe i should get a job, but £3 a hour means a lotta work until i get a new box

I get 7 Euro an hour. What the hell? If that's the exchange rate, I should get m0ds the Indy Box Set, because it's only 40 Euro over here, which apparently is like 15 Sterling?!

SSH,

The very thought of that just scared me so goddamn much.

I'm actually taking note of it and I'm going to use it. Except it won't be the mouse slowing down since I'm using keyboard control. So the character would be slowing down. And a slowly shaking screen (Shaking with the distant-but-gaining-quickly-shudders-of-an-approaching-monster) with a blood red tint... O_O ... And you don't know WHAT it is that's coming for you, how how far away it is, but the shudders are getting louder and more violent and you're getting slower and ...

O_O

Also,  not being able to escape in nightmares is the worst, you're right. And not knowing whats coming for you, but that SOMEthing is. I once had a really bad nightmare that involved some sort of weird demon that looked like that guy from that musical episode of Buffy, Once More with Feeling (Not the scary part yet). Anyway, it sounds ridiculous, right... but the worst part of the dream was that he somehow buried me alive in this hole, I forget how... but I was a hundred feet underground and could barely move, and I was going to be like that for all eternity.

Jeeze.

I'm beginning to bite my nails and hyperventilate and now people are staring at me. Thanks a bunch, SSH.

Okay I'm at a College Computer, but I'll download this when I get home. Anyway, I was just gonna say, I did Beyond Reality for a school project too, and it sucks! It gives too many restrictions on langauge and story content and puzzle difficulty, for a start!

But by the sound of it you've done a really good job. I just thought I'd mention that I share your pain with the School Project thing :)

He is either Irish and therefore insane, or Tim Schafer and therefore insane, and I think I know which it is.

With a name like Ched, neither.

I'm just gonna list of a couple things that made some certain characters lovable to me:

Guybrush
Cuz he was hopelessly helpless but he meant well... that and he was funny.

Max (Sam and Max Max)
Cuz he was positively bubbling with evil, evil personality.

Rinoa
She was loving and caring but also pretty mischevious as those japanese chicks go. She had a naughty streak that came through strongly.

Razputin
Poor little bastard.

Manny
He was such a character, and had a good sense of humour. He was determined and strong willed too.

In conclusion I think that it's up to a formula. I mean, there's nothing anywhere that says dumb characters are lovable, and suchlike. If your formula works, it works. If not, then... it doesn't work.

Quoteeven some people nominated games like 5 Days a Stranger and Apprentice for the Booby Prize.

I thought P3nish was a good thing, the way you were all throwing it around on #ags... :(

You can gave mine, Mark!

I wish I had a Beach PC.

I think the entire problem would be solved by people not posting until they know for sure that their game will be made. Most of the time I don't check the Games in Production page because there's just too much 'junk'... games that will never, ever be made. It depresses me, but it doesn't mean I don't keep an eye on the games that I AM looking forward to.

I'm excited about my next project, but I'm not posting it in the In Production thread. Why? Well quite simply because it's not in production. It's not set in stone. It's not yet ready to serve you warm, freshly squeezed brilliance, in that golden chalice that Indy has in The Last Crusade. So why on earth would I bother posting a thread about it when I can just pimp it at every available opportunity everywhere else?

People just get overexcited is all.

EDIT: CJ you n00b, quit double posting and click the edit button for once. GOD. HONESTLY.

I can't believe you're falling for this. I don't know who's funnier; PhilRoberts for making all these posts, or all of you for believing them, even after reading that gem.

Anyway, back on topic.

That idea sounds great except for the 50 cutscenes and the 45 minute introduction cutscene and the name 'Lunchbox'.
#1358
I won't say, "But it's January!"
#1359
You guys should be ashamed, you're acting like bullies.

Completely off topic... My little sister just pointed to SSH's avatar and said, "That reminds me of Finn and Camille having an argument."

Finn is 21 and Camille is 3.
