But why? Why spoil a perfectly good game with a sequal? Unless they get Tim on the job, it'll never work. Besides, even though it was a great game, it sold hardly any copies. Shit, this room feels like a fridge. Anyway, so despite that it was better than anything Lucasarse ever produced... they will never do it again.

I say screw Lucasarse, and just buy ten copies of Psychonauts and catapult it to fame and money, and whatever comes with fame and money. SWIMMING POOLS, PROBABLY. Then, we can be assured they'll knock out some top notch and memorable games. Maybe ones inspired by swimming pools, or something.

I just sort of realized that I have a bunch of your music on my hard drive. I even like some of it. It's nice.

But maybe you remember the remix of Murray (I am Murray, the Mighty Demonic Skull!). Well, my sister is three, and she won't stop listening to it. She's enchanted. She's singing along to it and everything, and she's got this whole head-shaking thing going when she mimicks Guybrush saying, "Uh-huh".

Well, I just thought a thread tributed to you would be nice, seeing as I DO have a lot of your music, and you're making my sister-babysitting-thing a lot easier.

Three cheers for Trapezoid.

I figured she was one of those, like, you know, girls, because of all her, you know, like, COMEBACKS, and stuff? I figured most like, american schoolgirls that say that stuff talk like that. You know? It's just so like, typical, and stuff!

Yeah! Ireland is great because you can be an extreme example of the true american 'geek' and people actually think it's awesome. Because people in Ireland aren't as technologically advanced as americans/brits. So when I started a computer club in school, a bunch of people joined, just because the thought it was cool.

I'm trying to teach them AGS, which is hard, because I can't really use it that well.

Oh, that reminds me. Expect a newbie flood from Ireland any... minute... NOW.

Yeah, just kidding.

Kind of.

Yay! And Nay!

Everybody in my school knows who Tim Schafer and Ron Gilbert are. I made sure of that. They sort of hate them at this stage.

Hell, in the computer club, guess who the mentor is?

Oh my god, YES! Oh my god, YES! Oh my god, YES!!! OH MY GOD, YESS!!!!

But... is it in french? I don't speak french talk very well. Unless they're sort of sociable pirates that like saying hi, and telling you how many brothers and sisters they have.

Since I was 10 years old I wanted to go on Pirates of the Caribbean. It inspired MI, for heavens sake, of course I did. Anyway, now it's inspired a  movie too.

So naturally, when I was told we were going to Disneyland, Paris on our school tour... I was all like, "YAY!" And Sorcha was all like, "Sometimes they cancel the Disneyland Trip" and I'm all like, "Well I'll demand a refund if they do!" And she was all like, "I don't even think PotC is IN Disneyland Paris." And I was all like, "Yes, it is!" And she said, "I think that's in Disneyland Florida." And I'm all like, "I hate you!" And then I started crying and was all like, "But Ron Gilbert..." And she was all like, "Yeah, where does he live?" And I was all like, "San Francisco" And she's all like, "And where's that?" And I'm all like, "In America" And she's all like, "Where in America?" And I was like, "California" and she's like, "And what else is in california?" And I'm all like, "...Florida?" And she's all like, "So do you think he flew to paris to visit disneyland, instead of just driving a few miles down the road?" And I'm all like, "That's a stupid exaggeration!"

Here's my question. Please somebody, tell me... where is Pirates of the Caribbean??? Paris or Florida?

I was putting it ON.

But I also have AN American accent.

Even though I am IRISH.

And have never been to AMERICA.

AND what's a valley girl?

Sometimes, Irish people are born DIFFERENT.

Maybe it's GENETIC.

They have AMERICAN ACCENTS.

Nobody can EXPLAIN this.

Maybe it has something to do with the SPEED of the linguist.

As in, the RATE at which they talk.

Everybody THINKS I'm American.

My EYES look spanish.

My skin looks UNHEALTHY, and white.

So they think I'm a spanish american ALBINO.

I would have to disagree about the lying bit. Take Tim Schafer for example. He's the best liar ever, and people love him for it.

I give you the following brilliant lies (Although the first one is more of a confession):

QuoteYELLOW AGAIN, and still no art. Why do I LIE? For attention? Or PROFIT?

Quote...our first game is a little--just a smidge--on the late side...

QuoteLast night I was working late and saw a ghost in the office. It was on a scooter.

QuoteAnd if you listen to what he says the meaning is obvious: Ed thinks that Double Fine Productions is THEE GREATEST GAME COMPANY EVER OF ALL TIME EVER. And after that part, he adds that he loves us, and has a crush on many of us, and wishes we all hung out more, and that if we're not doing anything this weekend, he'd like to see the Hulk with all of us, and then maybe play Pictionary after and have root beer floats.

QuoteI am the Living and Immortal Spirit of Good Times--I simultaneously exist at all parties in all dimensions simultaneously.

QuoteComing soon: Screenshots!

QuoteAnd now for some news about the game... Right after THIS!

Um. Vel. So far you've had a personal dig against somebody in an issue, you don't have a definite release date (Although as you said, maybe that's because of the workload) and now you're complaining about the amount of emails you get from people asking about the AGSzine. Plus it's full of spelling mistakes and punctuation errors.

I think a little proffesionalism wouldn't go amiss. You savvy? Just because you're making a free service for AGS users doesn't mean it should be a crap service. If you don't have time to do it properly, you shouldn't do it at all.

Cut the guy a break ~_~ I think his point is, he doesn't want games whereby people have slapped a few lines onto a background in MS Paint. While graphics don't mean a lot to a game, I think it still shows how much effort is being put into it. Even a crap artist can make a background look decent with a certain amount of time and effort.

Pleughburg would be my choice. While the graphics aren't very good, they're stylized and neat with no glitches etc.. I think this is what he means by good graphics.
