Bring on the pictures people!

Just got home!

I was restrained in my hyperactivity? Okay! Actually, I did lots of subtle idiotic things that nobody seemed to notice:

Every time I walked into a stool I'd apologise loudly to it.

And every time the peaks of mine and Mark's caps knocked, I'd say 'ow'.

And I kept calling referring to Chris Jones as Chris Reee...ones.

Mine is 1.2Gz with 256mb RAM and a GeForce 4... Crap, so I think it's worth the mention since it's only barely over 1Gz. It's never had a problem running any game.

AGS games also run fine on my laptop, which is ... um, 800mhz Pentium Something with 128 MB of RAM and some crappy 16mb Graphics Card.

Bizarrely, games would play incredibly slowly on another PC that my friend has, which although I do not know the specs for it was a brand new Emachine, so it couldn't have been less than 1.6Ghz at worse.

This information is extremely confusing, but there you have it :(

Oh, my, GOD!

I can bring all my Westlife CDs!

And my posters of Mickey Joe Heart!

Then I can put make up on you and do your hair in quiffs.

It'll be like, a sleepover!

Then I can take pictures.

And we can talk about Boys.

OMG.

(PS. Mickey Joe Heart won the Pop Idol! And he was Ireland Eurovision Entry! He's so dreamy. He plays a shamrock green guitar and stuff)

Well, I for one intend to have a highly intellectual and interesting discussion with him. And afterwards can we go to the park and feed the squirrels?
#707
Seriously though, are we going to make good use of this time and actually have an insightful discussion about game development? Rather than discuss the secret of Monkey Island?

Anything else? It's rather short, but so is the Bedroom Fight sequence. It's hard to hear the BGM properly because of all the crashing sounds and suchlike, so I tried my best.

In other, unrelated news... does anybody know that song Out of my Mind by Duran Duran? I didn't realize before that it was Duran Duran. Do I remember somebody else doing a cover of it, or something?

Ha ha, you seriously like it? Awesome.

I wish I'd done music in school. I love music so goddamn freaking much.

Since I love it so goddamn freaking much, and since I love contributing things that have not been contributed to the internet yet, I shall continue to do so.

I happen to have bought Octopussy again and have set aside some time to watch it (I have been putting it off and putting it off due to my innate fear of clowns). Are there any particular tracks you'd like Midified? Or from any other Bond movie? I shall try.

I really have no idea why I just wasted my time doing this, seeing as I have no intention of making a James Bond game, let alone one based on A View To A Kill. Even though it was a kickass movie and Christopher Walken rocks.

But if anybody else would like it, and since I don't think there's another one available on the entire interwebwork, feel free since otherwise it's quite literally just going to sit on my PC, never to be heard again.

Yes! You'd beat him up! Thank you!

To be fair, the only people I have ever heard say 'violence is not the answer' are people that have never been in such a situation.

The pain and misery these people inflict on others is unbelievable, and the worst part?! You can never win an argument with these guys! They'll always win! Even if they go to prison, they'll make themselves believe THEY'RE the victims! So I say, let them think they're the victims while learning to WALK again.

Violence certainly is an answer if it gets him to fuck off. It's certainly going to be bunches more productive than going to see Bridget Jones 2 with her. So maybe you don't have to break his legs, but you could scare the shit out of him and make him think he's going to die.

Out of interest... which class does perform better?
#714
I'm not joking. Pay to have him beaten up badly. Pay to have his arms, legs and teeth broken.

Ozwalled: That wouldn't work because abusive husbands don't like their wives to go out, so she'd just get it twice as bad when she gets back.

The only way is to make a clean break, and since abused women are too retarded to do that themselves, I can see that the break is going to have to be in his legs.

Only one I can think of off-hand is See No Evil, Hear No Evil. Dave is completely deaf, Wally is completely blind... until, apparently, a scene close to the end, where Dave is looking through binoculars and responding perfectly normally to Wally's questions. Bleh.

Seriously, if you walked out your front door to see two men stroking each others hair - what would you think? There are MUCH better ways to indicate platonic love between people, and as open as Terran is, I doubt he'd actually be touching his male friend like that PURELY to show his non-sexual affection.

Okay, wait, stop. Besides telling little kiddies to lick penis heads, Willy Wonka also stroked a little boy's hair in that movie while singing sweetly to him. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO THINK THAT IT DID NOT INDICATE A SEXUAL LOVE.

However, I do think that, to be fair, those guys sound a little gay in GK. I mean, you could say all sorts of things about non-sexual love and stuff, but the fact is, man that looks gay. I mean, stroking hair isn't usually a way two guys would express love for each other. I know guys at school that hug, put their heads on each other's shoulders, sing together, things like that. And I know girls that stroke each other's hair, hold hands, and things like that. But I don't know one straight guy expressing his love for another straight guy, by stroking his hair.

They sing together? My life is like a musical!
