Quote from: evenwolf on Fri 29/06/2007 11:52:59But I know launching another "preemptive strike" will paint the United States as the definitive enemy of the world.

Not to mention a preemptive NUCLEAR strike.  :-\ </off topic>

I was about to mention IMBD. Great initiative, Evenwolf. Good luck in organising this event ... I'm pretty sure there's some great Iranian cinema out there. How about googling for English language Iranian movie forums? (they should exist, right?).

*EDIT* maybe these help:

Being a big fan of the books I have to say that I'm very much looking forward to this movie (or this trilogy). And - judging from the trailer - Lyra, mrs. Coulter and Lord Asriel look perfectly cast. They look just as I imagined them.
I do agree that Lyra's Oxford looks a little to sparkly and shiny, though... needs a little bit more on the grime and filth shaders, CG department. ;D

Is there a URL? (severe caser of Google laziness)
Is it associated with/organised by Develop magazine?

Cool post, Magic. It's nice to get some insights into the FOA2 team workings. I (for one) are very much looking forward to the FOA2 game... :)

Part 2 I never played, though I was told it wasn't that good.

Well, don't always believe what you're told  ;D - I found GK2 to be a very enjoyable game. And definitely the best "live action" game I've played. Still have to finish GK3 though...

Quote from: Nicholas (with a 'ch, not a 'k) on Tue 03/04/2007 05:03:36Does anyone remember that SNES Mouse? That could've work to play adventure games. If only they'd do something like that on next-gen...  :P

Well, most next-gen consoles have one or more USB ports (PS2, PS3, Xbox360). Plugging in a mouse is as easy as pie. And getting it to work in your homebrew software shouldn't be that hard, either... :)

Looked rather convincing to me. ;D If it had not been for "Justine Kiding"... ;)

Also, 26 years, sure, but uh, I thought the whole point of Indy was for it's early 1940's style.

I thought it was going to be early fifties? Post war?
