General Discussion / Re: LucasArts TTF anyone?

Yep. That "onesize" font on the website Proskrito proposed, is very close and it's a ttf font.

Yep - noticed it as well. Unfortunately I can't do anything about it, as my hosting provider is fiddling around with their servers. I also suspect their MySQL database server is a bit overstretched. I'll send them a stern email. ;D

Wuss

And I'll counter your "Wuss" with a "yay for vegetarians".

Quote from: Hollister Man on Sun 18/07/2004 02:16:01Has Lucasarts shut down fangames before?

That is a good questions. Have they? because I can't think of any LucasArts based fangame that has been ceased-and-desisted yet ...

I wouldn't worry. I doubt m0ds'll ever get around to releasing it.

hmm. I take that as a personal insult (starts photoshopping frantically).  ;D

Quote from: Guybrush Peepwood on Wed 07/07/2004 12:31:18So don't say there are christians who don't understand atheists, because a lot of them do. It's the atheists who don't understand Christians.

I say: steady on with the HUGE generalizations there, Peepwood.

I'm not a christian either, but you're heart's in the right place Minimi - good luck!

Okidoki - some recycled stuff from way, way back:

The Roclops

The Locusor

The Treasure Beetle

They're a bit small, but hey - they can't all be giants.  ;D

He can blink after being shot because he is my invincible animation test dude.

I think the arterial spray should start sooner ... not after he loses his head. Nice animation though.  :D

It's SHIFT in PS and PSP as well. PS has proper line, circle and box tools as well.

with flash, where you would normally put a motiontween you can go to tween properties and select an imagetween (i think thats what its called).

You then set hints as to where the lines will merge into each other...

sorry if its a little vauge, but its been a long time since i used flash for animating.

try www.flashkit.com :)

But that only works well for vector based images, right? if you want to do fun stuff with bitmaps it's going to be fading, colourchanging or do something with animated masks... anyway - www.flashkit.com is the place to find out. :)

Whoa, this is weird. I hadn't checked in on Brittens before, because I (usually) live in Denmark. And now, just of curiosity I look at the thread and discover that I'm actually right now located just south of where you're going to be at - working at EA in Chertsey, and staying in Walton-on-Thames, ! I doubt I'll have time off in the weekend, but man would I love to come.

Dude! I worked at EA in Chertsey only two months ago!

And Basic is, like, shitting whipped cream compared to Assembly.

Yes. Quite. Easy but messy.  ;D
