Nice animation, though it looks more to a horse than a cat walking. O well... it's a wacky game, so that shouldn't matter that much!

Great animation Erwin! and it doesn't look like a horse. I live with cats, they run like that when they're really excited (usually about food and/or birds).  ;D

My videocard came with one of those geeky lcd-shutter 3D glasses. I was mucho surprised when it actually turned out to work ... I use it every now and then for first person games (it makes Silent Hill double creepy). Only drawback is the massive splitting headache it causes ...
The only thing they don't explain in the article how this display actually works ...  >:(

I just don't get the whole "russkies nuking the states" thing; there's this crippling civil war, America has completely debilitated itself. Hell the Russians - if they would WANT to in the first place - could just march in there. But no, they nuke everything? wtf?  >:(
A very compelling story, a great hoax, but this little detail is just a little too Russophobic and spoils it.

It's a nice picture - but I think it can do with some more contrast. The shadow areas are very pale and a little washed out. This makes the image a little flat... try making all shaded areas a little darker. And yes: a sign - that will make it much more a hotel.
Keep up the good work!  ;D

Am I the only one who sees a camel toe?

Nope - now that Weasel mentioned it, I feel free to point and go "camel toe" as well ... ;D
Very, very nice picture. Her gun could be a bit bigger perhaps (but  that might just be my hangup). Keep it up, animate it! Background art! Yay!

"There seems to be an insatiable appetite for portable play," Kaplan said, citing steady growth in that portion of the market." (from said article)

That's gonna bite them in the ass...

Oh and DS stands for Dual Screen ... cos it has two ... sooo novel ...  ;)

I think that the clone is ProMotion4.0... PM to me if you want a copy (And if it is legal to share that files... :-X)

You can also be a good boy/girl and buy the light version - it's not that expensive:

I remember playing Tomb Raider for the first time and parts of that scared me. Well, I don't know if it was being scared or was just "fear". Random tigers and things kept me on the edge of my seat, but I don't think I was scared. Just ph33ring.

Ah yes - forgot that one. I was watching a friend of mine play Tombraider (1) and when he entered that lost valley, heard the thundering footsteps (making the whole screen shake) and then saw that gargantuan t-rex I almost pissed myself. Them's some scary polygons.

Yeah, but you're old.  Lots of stuff scares you.   ;)

Argh! just you wait until I get my hands on you! young rascal! damn ... where's that walking stick? ...  ;D

A truly scary moment (in a truly scary game, IMHO) was the school belltower in Silent Hill 1. After running through this foggy abandoned city for hours you enter a small tunnel beneath the tower. The tunnel is pretty short and ends in steps leading up. When I popped my head out of the far end of the tunnel I got a nasty shock: you exit the tunnel in exactly the same place as where you enter it (only now in some ghastly Hellraiseresque travesty of a shadow dimension).
That little tunnel seems to warp space in a most disturbing way - you enter it, and walk out the entrance without turning around ... not a "doors-slam-open-and-hundreds-of-zombies-burst-in" kind of scary, but very, very unsettling. As was the cat in the locker. I actually screamed.

I don't like playing shit. Take time making your games. Don't rush. I can't stand rushed games. If it feels like its been made in a rush, I'll play it in a rush and probably quit after a few screens into it.

And that's EXACTLY why we won't be releasing FoY BEFORE 2016!  ;D

Man, if that wasn't totally unfeasable it would be awesome.

Why is AGS for the GBA so unfeasable? I know there is a (free) GBA Devkit, and guiding the cursor with a d-pad is tricky but not impossible (Broken Sword I has - after all - appeared for GBA, and that works).
I'd buy a GBA if there was AGS for it... :)

Anything that makes a horizontal scrollbar appear in my browser counts as spam! automatically! in my book anyway ... sorry about your loss though.

Definitely sounds like either the Power Supply or the power outlets in your house. I don't think it's the battery on you MoBo - that wouldn't explain random resets. Your motherboard probably has heat and fan sensors - and they usually throw bleepy fits and ugly messages on your screen about non functioning fans or overheating components, so that's probably not it either...
Tough break man!

Besides, MacGyver can make anything out of anything, you could beat the game with only 2 or 3 inventory items...

Which would make a great game, and probably a worthy MAGS competition!  ;D

The Neverhood has one of the most amazingly useless-yet-useful rooms in any game I've ever played. The 22 screen wide storyroom. It's amazing. It's also a total pain in the posterior to walk through. But it's a fabulous game. Eating the mushrooms (?) and belching for 5 minutes straight was hilarious.

to me MX is a new swear word as the new Flash MX and Dreamweaver MX are shittake to the Xtreme

Most absolutely ... just try to make a simple button with a mouseover animation in MX. Flash5: breeze, FlashMX: brickwalluptherectum.
