You heard right. An Insta Game. I started working on it during late december while I was on a diffrent computer and wasn't able to make AQ2. So instead I decided to use this much needed resource. Thanks Mr. C and Sylpher. Also Rodekill for his new additions which I have yet to see.

This is it. Play it. Love it. And well...delete it afterwards.

Edit -
I just was told about a small bug with a doubled up inventory item. The empty blue cup. Use the cup on the water until you don't have anymore...Sorry for the inconvinience...I'll try to fix that soon.

I remember this game a while back...I'll be downloading it as soon as I can. I recommend everyone else do the same, because from what I remember, this was very well done.

I haven't finished it yet, for lack of time, but I must say...this is a very well done game. I love your graphics, you're music, and the storyline. It reminds me of sierra. The only problem I have with it is the dialog. If you do something along the lines of using the normal narrator box for speech, then you should give us the names of who is saying what. There was a moment I got confused. It's nothing major...just thought I'd mention it. Good job!

I know my way around AGS pretty well. And I'm willing to always give my services.

I love to play new games, and help those who need to know what's wrong here or there. Spelling...is not my strong suite, however, I'll constructively criticise anything I'm given. Which basically means, there will be no messages like "YOU SUCK."

I made the music for my own games, as well as 6DA, and I commonly make my own symphonic music, using MIDI.

If there is anything else that you need from me, feel free to ask. I am strongest in the categories above, but I do know enough in most of the other categories to hold my own.

I'm going to have to play this a couple times to attempt to grasp at any of your meanings. At first I thought you were going for a superego, ego but then you left the room. It reminds me of Becket.

The differences between the two, as they are today, are vast. Sierra can no longer be considered an adventure game company, whereas Lucasarts still puts out a game or two, Sierra hasn't made a proper one in about seven years (not that they haven't made great games, just not any adventure games). In the olden days the difference wasn't so great. Sierra was the first to make a graphic adventure game, and so really back then it was all experimentation. The stories, while present, could be written in a sentence. The puzzles were few. This mostly because of the hardware we had to work with, and the limited space we had available.  Lucasarts games and Sierra games are diffrent, while both making great games. Lucasarts is more cinematical and more plot dependant. Sierra, I feel, was more puzzle oriented. I love them both, although, I do have a stronger feeling towards Sierra as I grew up with its games, specifically Space Quest.

I haven't played you're game yet, but you do realise Ace Quest has a copyright on bloody tampon jokes.

Oh, I will, I just didn't want to release anything until I finished the first day, which is almost done.

I had nothing to do with BLAM. And yes, finding a completely unoffensive thing is almost impossible. But do you honsetly think that the statements below are cunstructive?

QuoteOther amateur game makers don't have the expertise to make a game this bad. This was the most sadistic psychological experiment I've ever played, including that "BLAM" thing.
QuoteI forgave Douglas Adams for this annoying stunt in Infocom's HHGttG because he can get away with a lot just for being Douglas Adams, but you are not.
QuoteThe ability to quit or restore is disabled for two minutes while the pointlessly slow credit sequence rolls by.
By the way, the credit sequence took a good 20 seconds on my system.

Cerulean, you hurt my feeling with this very very nasty post. It was uncalled for and offensive. There is no need to be rude, especially, when reviewing someones game. Would you want someone to post this about a game you made? Its just as easy to tell a person what you don't like about a game without being so negative. Going on a rant isn't going to solve anything. Do you want more free adventure games? Because if everyone got a review like this, they'd be packing it up.

I applaud the attempt he made at the game, and hope he can do better next time. I myself gave up trying to beat it.

The interface took a bit of time to figure out, but I got it. However, you did have a few "walking dead" things happening. I couldn't escape the pod, and I didn't have everything I needed, so I'm basically dead, while clicking everything I could think of. Frustrating.

I hope you will continue to make games, because while this one might not be a succes, you can always learn from mistakes. Good luck, in any event.

Here you go, it doesn't really look like me, as my face is smooshed in, but oh well, I scanned it, what did you expect? Its that or pictures of me drunk, and if this is me not intoxicated...lets not go there.

I hear that Halgwet, right after making my first game I felt pooped. And near the end I couldn't tell if I was being funny or not. Which is why my second game of the series, while still humorous, has taken a little more of a serious side, but not too much.

You're game was top notch. A small game, yes, but cleverly done, and some wonderful scripting. I'd give you a cookie if I had one to give. For all those people who haven't played this game, if you liked the LV games, which you should, than this is a must play. Its consistent with being funny, the puzzles are inventive, and the atmosphere was just right. Not to mention Chrille did an excellent job with the music, as always.

Good luck with your future games, I most certainly will be looking forward to play them.

I thought it was quite a funny game, very Phillesk, in the humor, which is a complement, I assure you. I didn't think the first room really was a pixel hunt, you gave a pretty straighforward hint, and as I am the kind of guy who touches, looks at, and tastes everything, I found it quite easily. You did a great job!

Arg...I be stuck

Spoiler
I already have made the cue, sharpened and all, and opened the desk. All I need now is to figure out this damn combination. I listened to the parrot until it started repeating itself, hopeing that it would give me some number of some sorts. Perhaps I'm daft, but I got nothing.

For some reason I couldn't get to it by the direct link, I tried cop and pasting and all that other crap. SO instead I just typed http://www.gaspop.com/files/ and clicked on the file directly, it downloaded from there. He might not have published it to the web yet, I don't know. In any event, I'll tell you how the game is.
