Yah, there's actually a real system behind the fights. It factors in char strength, weapon strength, skill and the enemies skill... and each enemy has a weakness *secret*

On the other hand the vote will be unfair to us if it's limited to the forum. 6 authors of Freak Chic are registered here and they won't vote for their own game. The other games are made by single authors.

Anyway, I think everyone who votes should have played (or at least tried to play) all games.

I'm stuck in the OSD game right at the beginning? I have no clue what I am supposed to do

Pro: bigger team to make game
Con: more of your votes going elsewhere
Although I think everyone gets that.. I'm trying to ignore all this because I really like Chic, silliness.
Btw: to get things going in OSD you have to try and fight the pirates like the unicorn says (in a roundabout rhyming way )

edit: I just read the actual tweet, my french is not the best, but

is a pretty loose translation It gave me a much different impression than 'Vote for the French AGS forum's game entry for MAGS Nov 2015, Freak Chic!' .. not very thoughtful but not nearly as questionable.

I've had one report of the download link not working, anyone else having these issues? My internet is kinda sucking and I am having trouble testing it. Working on a mirror though.

Although that Thunderstruck cover may have been one of the greatest things I've ever seen.

I think, back then, we thought they were the way of the future... but they turned out to be pretty ugly (IMHO)... Wing Commander III + was pretty cool, but it was mostly just cutscenes and not an adventure game of course...

If anyone else gets a crash at the end of Song Animals please let me know as I haven't been able to reproduce this.

During the end sequence, one of the characters was lagging behind the group.. then the script called for that character to do something and it was not in the current room. (sorry I didn't get to copy the actual error code).
Maybe run a check to see if all characters are in the room before the command, otherwise

Just finished The Man Only I Can See, not sure if high-res hand drawn art and parallax scrolling have any place in MAGS (I think it unfair to the unartistic...).

I think I beat Song Animals, but it crashed during the end sequence.. so sad.. I was really proud of myself for making it there! I found out that I'm nearly tone-deaf, but not entirely

I make a little function that iterates through hotspots characters and objects and sets them to clickable = false
And then run it when opening a GUI and again when closing one. It works, maybe it's hacky I don't know. I can post the script when I get to my comp if you like.

Although you will have a hard time convincing me that the entire world is interested in getting involved in the Middle-East because they love SAND so much. I think the flow of oil is higher on the priority list than the spread of democracy if that's what you mean by:
