looking again its weirder than I thought,
player character is now character 4, and the game starts in the wrong room using character 4. I think I was in the character 4 editor when i made the delete.

Wow, I just deleted cEgo, Character0, and AGS of course change the numbers of all my characters... I don't refer to them by number.. but it messed everything still. I don't feel so bright :(
Can this be fixed? I think I remember reading 'whatever you so don't delete characters' someplace.

I believe it's when I run the debugger while I have a messed up function declaration in the global header (the variable didn't match the function in global script, I think)

Thanks, CW, I get how it works now. But adding that feature would be really helpful the way I create sprites  :)

Sorry 'bout that..
when I attempt to test the feature, I use "Replace sprite(s) from source..." and I get this message.
QuoteSprite ## does not have a source file. It may have been tile imported.
have tried a few different scenarios, wonder if I am doing something wrong. Not tile imported, just cropped from a bitmap that hasn't been moved.

On the topic of features, I can't seem to get the reload sprite form source thing to work. I presume the onboard manual hasn't been updated to help explain the new featues? So far its been pretty good for me,

This community and the amount of content it produces warrants the continued efforts to update and move foreword IMHO. Besides, adventure games are poised to come back big time.

Just in case anyone is concerned about *my* problem >:(
After like the sixth time Artgem crashed while saving, I found I could take a screen shot and paste at least a bunch of my work into paint (including a nicely bordered "Windows has encountered a serious error" box). Saved me much frustration, for reference although no one uses Artgem...

I find without the module the idle animation won't run continuously, always sits for a second then begins (once you stop walking that is).

Had this same problem and could find nothing that helped.
AGS version 3.3.0?? Hopefully if anyone is listening they could look into this?

You guys know of any way to restore to a previous save on a file?  Twice now I've gone a long ways into the same background and while saving the program crashed and destroyed the file. ARRRGGG!
