I just got hit with the same bug Joyce was talking about on the previous page. Is there any way to fix it without restoring to another game? I think I saved after doing that.

oo. no, i dont think there is anything you can do. I'm really sorry. i havent been able to reprodruce the bug, so i dont know how to fix it. can you perhaps remember exactly what you did when you enter that room with stone crushing machine until you crushed the snake? I'm really sorry for the inconveniance.  :'(

EDIT: nevermind. i just found the bug! it was a duplication of script! my bad.

you can get 355 points, and still not get bess. her sidequest has no points attached to it. and yes, there is a small (lame) little clip if you do get all the points.

havent had time to go through whole walkthrough, but here are two things i picked up that you might have missed:

in mansion's backyard, examine window above nest  (1) this point might have been a bit unfair.

there are 5 blue cups throughout the game, so you missed one in one of the worlds. (3)

it is possible to save stan in three of the worlds. if you saved him in the underwater area from his prison, he will be somewhere in the village age.

Went back to a saved game and this time I killed the snake and then walked past it towards the exit, turned around and then picked it up and that worked. The first time I did it I was on the right side of the snake, crusher came down, killed snake, I picked it up when I was still at the right side and then tried walking towards exit and thats when I got the message.

okay, thanks, ill look into it. 

edit: okay, i still can't reproduce it  :'(. i always pick the snake up from the right. so if anybody else find it, my excuse is this is an amateur game made by people who dont know what they're doing.    8)

i just tried exactly what you said, but i can't reproduce the bug? is there anything else specific you did? when you pick up the snake you're already past the point where he says "I'm not going anywhere near that snake"? so, i guess you went back again. i tried everything, but can't seem to reproduce it.

sorry again, for the inconveniance.

in egypt - went into room with crusher, visited with indiana jones went back and killed the snake with the crusher and picked it up, now when I try to go back past the crusher it keeps saying I am not going anywhere near that snake, but the snake is in my inventory

hmm, that sounds like a bug.  thanks for letting me know, joyce! im sorry for the inconveniance.  :'( try "interacting" with the door, and pressing escape. if that doesn't work, i guess loading a previous game is the only option. im really sorry. ill fix it right away!

if you won the unicorn's trust, then just "interact" with the unicorn to get the hair. if you haven't won his trust, then maybe one of the books in the wizard's tower will help.

I'm in the dark cave, and i have clicked on every possible spot of the metal, but can't find any hole? can somebody please help me? is it to the right, center or left? up or down?

It's within the metal area of the darkness; and the cursor will display the word "hole".  Good luck!!

thanks for letting me know about the bug, jburger. just fixed it.  8) er, secret lame ending was still there last I checked. why, don't you trust me?  but it so lame, its not even worth finding the points for. 

Mardalles: That is my problem I can't figure out what metal he needs. I thought it would be the bronze fist since that is all I have.

- go to the far right bedroom, and interact with the window. you will now hang out   of the window. use the device you made with the nest.

I read the hint about a clue for the harp under the pillow in the tavern, I don't see any pillow in the tavern. Looked at the pillows in the blacksmiths where wife is, and looked at the room to the right of chief's place but I don't see any other pillows. Exactly where is the pillow?
