Well, I don't think that original "seduce" animation is good.
It's kind of childish... or drunk-high-school-cheerleader type

I suggest this (but the anim should be slow and smooth!):

*Roxy slowly changes pose so she's supported by her left foot, revealing bottom and figure more
* Places left hand onto hip (somewhat suggestive)
* This should also extend her breasts, pulling stomach back
* does something sexy with her right hand, like correcting hair maybe
* eyes could change too, maybe halfway-closed

It's quite weird if explained like thisÃ,  ::). Actually this is the oldest and most popular pose. All beauty contestants use this, if you're ever happened to see any shows (Miss whatever).

I threw together a quick sketch of final pose:

And random google came up with this:

If she's animated slowly and smoothly into this pose from original, well, quite seductive could that be :D

oh no, increator likes fat chicks!  :o

the topz is in the pasageway, hidden behind a rock. you cant open it, since the prisoner will give you a secret combination to open it. to get him to tell you, u need to give him a drink through the window (with grass in it).
also, ull only be able to see the rock once you have lit the pasageway.

hehe, i were waiting for division 1337, but they never arrived. we later heard something about getting lost in some first person shooter forum or something. we tried to contact them, but didn't understand a word they were saying.  ;D

needless to say, we are never hiring division 1337 again.

superb game, buloght. i thouroughly enjoyed this game! this is definetely in my top 10 of my favourite AGS games. the humour and dialogue are written expertly and hilariously, and the graphics are awesome. puzzles were logical, and the characters were amazing! i could see u spend some time on the animations, which were really good.

other than the game being about pirates, i didnt find anything cliche about it. and i dont mind more games with pirates in them anyway. lucklily i didnt encounter any bugs.  ;)

thx.

ure my vote as mags winner by far!

nice game! you're of to a good start.

in future games i would advise making speech skippable and make the character walk faster.

ok, its about time i make an inaccurate prediction on the time Mordy 2 will be released. so . . .

Mordy 2: The Mirror of Truth will be released around 14 February 2006. now, the only thing holding this back will be finding hosting space for a +-200MB zip file, so if anybody could me please!

betatesting will start 2morow. so, hopefully ill make this deadline.
#817
looks great. i would add shoulder pads. he does look a bit like the knight in buloght's knight's pursuit. u could go check that out for refernce.

isnt there a big difference between programming and scripting. people who write the actual game engine are the programmers. the rest of us just scripts a bit here and there.
edit: haha, i just read some of the other awards, and its seems they dont play a lot of adventure games themselves, judging by their choices.

If you write a game in javascript or vbscript, have you scripted or programmed it?

They are scripting languages, yet require programming knowledge. Same as scripting in AGS, you still need to know the concept of programming. It involves variables, conditional statements etc.

oh, come on, chris jones is the only one who does real programming around here. the rest of us just call a few functions and add a little bit of scripting, and a tiny bit of programming for the things that the engine doesnt do for us immediately.
if you want to give a reward  for programming, give it to someone one who actually wrote the whole engine for his game.
anyway, im not going to get in a heated discussion, so im not going to say anymore on the matter. we aggree to disaggree. i have programmed for 5 years before i saw AGS, but im sure i could have written a game without any programming knowledge in ags, since everything is already done. (and im talking about the hard parts, like the graphics programming and collision detection and stuff)

I enjoyed the game, sinitrena. much more than mine.  ;D
