General Discussion / Re:Sex and Dating.

Wow some interesting responses. I can see I opened up a can of worms by mentioning my beliefs heh.  Oops.

Well as for Christians who divorce....what's your point? Bible teaches that if your partner is commiting adultery that you should seperate in divorce.  However, you can't remarry, that's a sin.  The misconception here is that being a Christian makes you and everyone else instantly perfect or something, which isn't true.  I simply stated that my viewpoint was different.  The really interesting thing about the Christian discussion is that I stayed a virgin up until I married at the age of 25...and yet even though I did that I was NOT a Christian.  Sure I did the whole 'you're saved' bit, but I didn't ever really believe it until AFTER I was married and had my son.  I only recently thought of myself as a Christian, so sex-before-marriage being a no-no was never my Godly belief, it was just something I knew I could do because I was never weak because of sex.  So this quote below, doesn't apply to me, I wasn't a 'Christian':

Where as the christian man will probaly get married inside six months so he can get his leg over.......

"Getting my leg over" had nothing to do with why I married my wife.  The only good reason I ever had for sex was this boy:

Right on, some people actually agreed with me :) I'm shocked. ^^

Well I'm married, but I have strange views on sex and dating because I'm a christian.  I don't believe in sex before marriage.  I met my wife on the internet though, I think the internet can be a good thing if you use it wisely.  My friend dates constantly on sites like www.match.com.  He's had quite a bit of success, if you're viewing success in the fact that he's getting sex....but he just goes from girl to girl so what's the point(right I mean aside from sex)?  He told me though, that it was the best 25 bucks(I forget the cost but around 25, maybe it's less, maybe it's more) that he ever spent. ^^

Speed dating sounds bizarre.  Somebody mentioned Oxygen Dating to me once, no clue what that's supposed to be.  I don't have any experiences or know of any, maybe somebody else does...

I was told my friend when he asked for a ride clear across town, that I had no gas whatsoever. He said, no problem dude I'll take care of it and put some money in your tank.  He gave me 1 buck.  ^^ I make em give me the cash up front from now on.

Farlander, you do the same thing I do, find wonderful images & use them as a guideline for what I couldn't think up in my head.  Brilliant :)

I can think up some good things though, but can't quite get them onto the paper yet.  Need more practice...

Oh and I prefer the second image from the first post.

Ooo that's nice.  I really like using the dodge/burn tools, saves alot of time.

The make multi-region dvd players? Sweet... I really didn't know that cuz mine is only local US region & I don't plan on playing any imports on it anytime soon.  Is there a catch?

Maybe you should start by sketching some simple things, like a glass or a box or something in your room.  It helps to get an idea of how to draw what you see first, and then draw what you imagine second.  That's just my opinion, and what I had to do to get anywhere with my drawing.

You could also search google for beginning drawing lessons or something, tutorials...there should also be a ton of tutorials available through the forums here.  Just try to have fun with it. ^^

Now that Arnold is the 'governator', I think it's funny what he said.  They asked him if he still intended to look into those allegations about his past and his clever one liner response was simply "old news".  Heh! GO Arnold! I voted for Gary Coleman.  Oh wait, that was Gary Coleman for the male porn role in Mary Carey's next film. WOO!

Ah well, if the bird craps on the car and nobody is there to see it....you still see it later when you arrive. The car is still soiled.  And what's worse, it's sitting there embracing crap whilest you diddle your wife.  Shame.

Yah I see that too and I gather it's to showcase an exit? That's what the light is? Light from another room? Just wondering.  Looks sweet though, I really dig a game that looks like that.

Remixor: You grew up in San Diego? I grew up in Orange County & frequently liked listening kioz when I was on road trip to SD.  Sadly a rock station in OC was replaced by a spanish station which had no intention of playing rock :(

Wow but he's not making DOTT.  I know you're trying to teach him, that's cool...but what if he just doesn't get it? No more adventure game? Screw that, just have fun, I like your kitchen! :) Boo down with perspective! booooo. ^^

Yah it hurts the eyes...I always tell me 18 month old son: Stop, your drawings are hurting my eyes cuz they're not in perspective.

The perspective example is pretty simple.  You pick a point in the background and all lines must align with it.  Of course, horizontal & vertical lines do not.  It will come just don't self-destruct over it, it's not as important right now as creativity is.

This link is in English, but you can use the 2nd link to translate the parts you can't understand:

Translate english to swedish here:

Good luck :) Have fun! Or try anyway.

Unless you want to make wacky world.  Then you don't need to fix any perspectives :) I don't know, everyone is always biting at the perspective in all these backgrounds.  Sure it looks a little off, but just how important is it to look 'real'? Does any of it look real at 320x200? Not 'real'ly.  :)  Don't ask me I feel a bit off today...

The same goes for South Dakota, you can get a car for 100 bucks easy.  My brother-in-law is the king of cars that don't work...likes to acquire them for some reason.  No, he's not a mechanic(yah he claims to be but just isn't) and doesn't fix them up.  Everyone thinks my Thunderbird is the bestest car in the whole world cuz it was made in the 90's(what a treat!).  LOL.  ^^ And everyday I look at it and go...ugh...I need a newer car.

There's a Cakewalk Guitar Studio? I gotta check that out... I use Guitar pro, its good for tabbing guitars, funilly enough.

I think it's probably old.  I'm not sure you can buy it anymore, but if you can it'll be on their webpage. :)  If you can't find it there, maybe look for an old review of it somewhere else.

Heh, everyone always wants to ask if someone is doing a remake of this or that game.  Almost everytime, somebody says...yes I am.  Ok, so are you not going to do it now?  That's the question I always wonder about...  I mean, I know someone is doing a remake, but that doesn't mean you will rot in hell for working on it yourself.  So do it for fun and if the other guy finishes, good...you finish yours, and I'll have two choices. :) Sounds good to me! Maybe three choices if I'm super lucky.

Remakes remakes...When do I see a remake for Mystery House? ^^

I like that tune Ghormak, with the exception of that really high note...

This reminds me of some kind of Final Fantasy battle-fair.  Or like yufster said, a boss theme. Really nice tune :)
