Could this be the first book you mentioned?

That is the one I was referring too also. I'm guessing it is.

Number 1 .... called something like "The Wizard Who Painted The Sky?

Sounds like a book I think I used to have called "Wizard Gray". Im pretty sure he lived in an entirely gray world and he decided to paint it one day, matches you description at least!

I don't really read a lot, but I have been as of late. My favorite books would have to be:

1) Ubik (Philip K. Dick) - Began reading this on the train to and from work during the summer holidays, it was fairly short at 200~ pages (but thats kind of what I wanted, short but interesting novels.). I wasn't too impressed when I first started reading it, but a couple of chapters in I was hooked. Brilliant book in my opinion.

2) Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep (Philip K. Dick) - This was the first book I read during the summer. I had heard good things and I'm a fan of the Blade Runner film and game (Blade Runner being based off of this short novel). Again it was reasonably short, but more than long enough.

3) Series of Unfortunate Events (Lemony Snicket) - Ok, so they are "kids" books I guess, at least aimed at 16ish year old readers, but I was about that age when I started them and I was sure as hell going to finish them (13 books all in all) and I would read them all again too!

Currently Im reading "Filth" by Irvine Welsh, which may also end up being added to this list by the time I'm finished. There are also loads more Philip K Dick books I could add. If you're a fan of Sci-fi and haven't read any of this books, it might be worth checking one out!

Cocktails and light entertainment at a party consisting of sensible young people.

Sounds interesting! What are you dressing as? I bet it's an awesome concept for a costume, whatever it is. I'll wager it's not a brilliant costume though. But the concept and character is BOUND to be great.

Speak for yourself! My costume is awesome on all levels. Just you wait and see.

The "liceansed for 3 computers" thing is probably nothing more than legal grounds for the program to be used in a home enviroment, no more than 3 computer most of the time, but not be snapped up for a business to use on 300 computers for the same price. I seriously doubt the software itself even checks or cares how many computers its installed on :P

The fact that they left it to small/medium suppliers makes me think darth is right really. They couldn't afford to piss off a large supplier, but a small one might not beable to afford to lose the business just because of something like this.

I don't think the company I work for got one \o/. We are probably too important a supplier to lose to such stupidity.

EDIT: Although it appears to have been only Aus publishers aswell.

Please. Can we keep this on the topic at hand. Ie: Batman's dinosaur army and their war with the lego cowboys. Thanks.

Personally I agree with this person, and in our modern world I think such a game is disgusting.

I'll say it again, Godfather on the Wii is an excellent game that deals with all of the critiques you guys have mentioned. Its well worth a play imo.
